Some in South Texas and other parts of the country ( specifically registered under USSYS ) is and are going to remake teams true age in the Spring 2016 for a pull the Band-aid off method and just fix it now to get ahead and see what you got attitude approach.

What are your thoughts of this? To early? Fair Game? More time to recruit for lacking depth?

IMO - This is fair game.

Not possible here in the spring in LH as contracts have been signed for a year. I would guess 3 months won't be the difference between a world cup or not.
