LH D2 9/30

Now that we have a few games under our belt, we can make some team assessments:

FEVER- In first place for now. Winning close games late, but only scored 9 goals in 4 games. (Led the league with 50+ last year).

DT FTW Red- still the team to beat in my opinion. Tied FCUSA Sunday, but those two teams usually play each other pretty tight.

FCD Red- seen them play. Didn't know what to expect but they are surprisingly solid and if they continue to win against the bottom 7, could finish in top 4.

FCUSA- slowed down the train from FTW and only allowed them 1 goal. Anyone have commentary from their game on Sunday. My pick to finish in top 3.

Sting Central Martin- not sure what to make of their lopsided loss to DT FTW Red but I always respect that team.

NTFC- played Fever tough on Saturday and had them sweating until the final minutes. Sleeper pick to make top 4.

LP Spence- up and down week. (beat FCUSA then tied TXL). No disrespect to TXL but judging by the votes, no one expected that.


8-12- need more wins or in Solar Silver's case, more games played.

As i said before, with this shortened season and most games played in the Fall, every point is crucial. Although it's conceivable that one or more teams may have secured a spot in the top 4 by the end of the Fall season, I still think the few games in the Spring will be meaningful for most.
