Now that the first have of the season has come to a close -- Thoughts? Observations? Surprises?

Yes. I'm surprised at the parity and mediocrity from top to bottom. Not one team seems to stand out. They should have combined d-3 and gone with all 30 teams in d-1.

interesting observation. Not sure I agree. Top 4 have shown some parity but have separated a bit. Top 4 have played 40 games with two losses which were to other teams in top 4. And 5th has only lost to top 4 teams as well. I think it's a pretty normal lake highlands season.

Yeah....maybe. Still not a huge difference between top 5 and the rest. Pretty close games from top to bottom. Could be week 04s...don't know. Thought maybe all 20 were pretty strong but I don't think that's the case either. This whole group seems a little smaller and slower than the last several years. Could just be a runt of the litter year. I think ap might be a good thing in this case.
