AP 2006 Spring League Plans Empty AP 2006 Spring League Plans

Post by AtThePitch 23/11/15, 08:33 am

A few tournaments have attempted to hold AP brackets, with not much success.  Whats the spring hold for AP brackets and will leagues enforce the AP restriction in the spring?

AP 2006 Spring League Plans Empty Re: AP 2006 Spring League Plans

I think it is just taking teams awhile to get situated. Some teams are just starting to reorganize. It will be interesting to see which teams split to form AP teams and which teams stay together to play up.

This weekend Primetime had 8 AP06 teams for a gold and silver bracket and then teams started moving to U10 Gold and Silver instead.

lol!
There are (50% early Ap 05s) at lake highlands.
Aren't they ? They have contracts until spring.
They will replace the current ap 06s in the current 06 school year teams in June.
Good for you if you have ap 06 or ap05 teams, but I predict no changes in spring leagues.

If LH announces '05AP teams will qualify for D3, that should move things along.

Well if you put it like that..... The 06 that would be "replaced" in June might want to think about their options now. Might be one reason you see several 06AP teams forming now.

That's one way to look at it dts.
Another way to look at it is the current 06 APs are still with 06 school years for one more season for better competition and who knows they may want to play with ap05s at LH next fall.  All I predict is a mess when registering for spring. There are not that many ap teams yet. All the coaches know how many clubs have them.

13 AP responses. That's enough for a good division or 2. Communication will be key amongst team managers and coaches to see where everyone is playing.

This manager ready to communicate....

DTS 06AP Adames will have one team in Platinum and Gold divisions (whichever is the highest in the league) in AP 06 divisions.   We will play in a Saturday and Sunday league.  If AP divisions do not make then we will play in Platinum/Gold u10 divisions.

We will also have a second team playing in the Gold or Silver level divisions as an AP06 team.
