Any top 06 teams have upcoming tryouts?

I noticed LFS is hosting tryouts soon. Any other teams opening up tryouts for Spring?

It's still academy this spring. Any good coach will be happy to have girls come to practice to see if the team & environment are a good fit for your DD.

Call or email the clubs / coaches that interest you based on your family's situation.

A big thing is how far you're willing to drive twice a week for practices... That will help limit your scope.

Are you looking in north suburbs, Arlington, Ft Worth, Mid Cities, Eastern Dallas Co???

It's not about whether 9 & 10 year olds win games - it's about how well they're LEARNING as players and as part of a team.

Another good point. Development is the key. I am willing to drive 2x a week to most places if the coach is solid and the fit is good.

I guess issue would be most of those teams in Platinum division did not play as AP teams. So there are other teams that are not listed on FBR or that were in Platinum divisions that played as 07 teams. Still a mess. Hoping this shakes out soon.

The age pure situation seems likely to remain messy through the spring since Aug - Dec 2005 players have to keep playing U10 along with 2006 birthdays. Mega-clubs with large player pools can afford to split now but seems like most others will prefer to delay splits until later.

Sting Black continues to look for talented AP06 and AP05 girls to round out a strong squad and who are willing to put in the work to improve their game with us. Spaces are dwindling, so I would advise coming out soon. We also have a specific need for an 06 Keeper. If you are interested, please contact me regarding a tryout and evaluation.

Most recently, both Sting Black AP06 & AP05 finished in the top of their divisions in The League Challenge Cup Tournament, an Authorized Premier SuperCopa Qualifying Tournament.

Come check out the sessions that LFS and D'feeters are putting together for this Friday and Sunday, this is not just for one team, all coaches with their teams from D'feeters north, south, and farmers branch will be there as well as all LFS coaches with 06s teams. Different styles of coaching and different levels of teams to look at.

I would not recommend choosing a coach based on rankings, go personally and check out practices and talk to coaches. Hope you find what you are looking for.
