The 2016 Dallas International Girls Cup is just around the corner!

This year we have more international teams and more out of state teams than the tournament has ever had. Among these great teams include Arsenal Ladies FC from England and San Diego Surf Soccer Club from California.

International teams that confirmed participation include:
1. JyPK or United (Finland) - Competing in the U13 age category
2. AIK Stockholm (Sweden) - Competing in the U13 age category
3. Arsenal Ladies (England) - Competing in the U14 age category
4. Blackburn Rovers Ladies 2 teams (England) - Competing in the U14 and U16 age category
5. Ballerup Skovlunde Fodbold (Denmark) - Competing in the U16 age category
6. TSV Lengfeld (Germany) - Competing in the U16 age category
7. Barking Abbey Academy (England) - Competing in the U17 age category
8. Oost Nederland (The Netherlands) - Competing in the U17 age category

Top teams from the U.S. and Canada that have confirmed participation include Gulf Coast Texans Soccer Club (FL), Colorado Storm (CO), San Diego Surf ECNL (CA), Challenge SC (S.TX), Ottawa South United (Canada), Virginia Rush (VA), Houston Rush (S.TX), Vaughan OPDL (Canada).

They took the year off!

That is the summer tournament field, not the spring field...the summer tournament was definitely smaller though the spring field drew plenty of heat on the boards for the field it drew.

Our team has enjoyed the overall experience for the past two years, though our expectation WASN'T to play all international teams. We expected a local LH team, one international team...and maybe an ECNL team...
