Concerning Letter about DT South 04

LOL OH I can assure you she wasn't stalling the game!!

She smiled at how ridiculous people sounded booing her when the ball ISN'T even at play!
As far as I know she is allowed to do WHATEVER she desires during a substitution, which includes tying her shoe! SMH

The goalie should of been applauded, it takes major talent to tie your shoes with those hamburger helper gloves on! Honestly she has to be one of the best goalies in the 04 division but hey maybe she's going to be a 03 next year. This all started from a parent who was bitter about 1-1 tie that ended in DTS winning in PKs, damn I'd hate to see what would of happened if elite lost 1-0, it probably would of gotten real ugly!

okay the shoelace incident happened just after the sub not during. Also the injury in which she was oddly stretching her leg (like a cramp) could have been pure innocence by a clueless kid or gamesmanship by a savy player who has seen a soocer game or 2. Hopefully it was the latter. For a 12yr old to recognize game situations is brilliant. Either way it wasn't why elite lost. We lost because they didn't play well enough and the DTS keeper is one of the best keepers I have seen in this age group and not just in NTX.

There was no drama at the game. I didn't hear anyone boo the keeper (I was on the other end though) . I did hear the CA kids cheering elite. Didn't see the adults though. A couple of the DTS moms are EXTREMELY loud and carry a sense of persecution but nothing was out of control.

It can be fun to tease DTS for being dirty or whatever. But they are still one of my favorites and I know my DD is game to mix it up with them anytime because they don't have a bunch of crybaby, whiny princesses on their team. I am sure they have some issues but everyone else seems to be a bigger issue. Suburbanite parents hovering doing everything they can to smooth the path and carry the load for their children. everyone cries too much. The worst part of DTS seems to have been fixed. The CM used to slide all the time. It was reckless, often at the player and not the ball and the leg was high. It was an accident waiting to happen. I saw none of that in this game. It was a good, hard fought game. A couple of questionable calls and I still think elite is the better team but it doesn't matter who is better on paper. Only matters who is willing to come out and fight harder to win. In this game that team was DTS. So congrats to DTS. To Elite "If you want to keep the Gap open you need to put in the work to do so. Mom and dad may think you are special but the world doesn't give you anything

This is what I remember the last time DD played them. Glad to hear she is not doing it anymore.
