06AP FBR "initial ranking" Feb 17, 2016

Here is the "initial" FBR rankings for 06AP teams.   Please know that this is VERY preliminary and I will be working on the tiers weekly as we get more and more data.  Please also know that there are many 06AP teams that do not have 3 games in yet so each week more teams will show up in the FBR.    Just a few more notes ......

-only 06AP teams with 3 or more games since Nov 13th are included
-all games in the U10 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included however only teams that have 06AP by their name or that play in an 06AP division are included.  
- Any team with a Aug 05 to Dec 05 player has been excluded from the published rankings
-If your team is missing and you are 06AP with three or more games in please verify with me that you are 06AP now and I will start including your team.  
-If you are a team that plays one day with 06AP and one day with traditional aged 06 players I have two accounts for you and only the 06AP account will be published in FBR
-As always regulation scores are used for FBR....no OT and no PKs
-No U11 games are included in the data

Thank you for your patience and "nice" PM's as I work to get 06AP going strong!!!  If you don't like the ranking of your team please be patient.   Time will tell the truth!!!!  More data will tell the truth!!!

Thanks for the work. Any feel for how many 06AP teams there will be when all said and done?

Hopefully any team not on the list of contacts I created will let me know to add them. (The other thread) That will give everyone a good idea of who "wants" to have a select 06AP team.

If you watch FBR each week it will give you a good idea once all that are playing spring leagues get their three games in and are published on rankings. Those will be the teams that look to have enough girls to make a team come signing day. But I know of two teams that have enough but still play w 1-2 girls Aug -Dec 05 so they won't show up on the rankings. I am sure there are more teams like that to.

No offense to DTS. We are buddies! Sting Black  06 and Solar Red 06 are unbelievable teams and setting the standard in 06.

It every other markets outside of NTX. DTS south would have a chance to be #1. Those 2 / 06 teams would give any 05AP team a run for there money .Including my DD's 05Ap team!

DTS is a really good team. Really good and your DD plays great soccer. Just not epic good as a team! Remember that I am swallowing my pride because have been a Solar guy. Got to give the credit where it is deserved.

Time will tell....... Not quite sure why you feel the need to beat up on DTS. And we did not have a good weekend in our last tourney. Not the end of the world. But DTS is excited to play tough competition locally and out of state. Looking forward to SuperCopa this summer. We know our strengths. We know what we need to work on. And we know we have a great coach to get us there.

Cool. I am not concerned with where everything is today and DTS is a good soccer team/club. Just not my DDS style. Lots of respect for DTS achievements.

Thanks for the rankings in 06/05 because it helps many parents with great information an skill levers that narrows down many options.

JB - Thanks for the very kind words regarding Sting Black AP06!  Give us a holla if you get your dd Birth Certificate changed.  I think she is a Hope Solo in the making.  LOL

AP06 community - Sting Black AP06 is actively looking for a goalie.  Please PM if interested.

I think a looking for goalie column should be added to the 06AP contact list. Most teams are looking for a goalie. Goalies----inquire within.

I show FCD Webb as playing Saturday in the AP06 league at UAL. If it is indeed not all AP06 or younger .......if it has an 05 player(s) born Aug to Dec 05 I will mark their account as do not include in FBR.

Anyone from FCD Webb out there......can you verify if there is or is not 05 players on the team? Of course just for AP06 FBR purposes.....not anything else.

As I enter this weekend's games I see now UAL merged one of the SATURDAY AP divisions with a calendar year division and is now labeled platinum/gold. In this merged division Webb has two teams. One is labeled 06AP. The other is labeled 05/06.

Sheets. Thanks for the nice comment about my DD being a goalie. My DD is a SOCCER PLAYER and a sweet kid. She only shined bright at goalie because she did not have to worry about stepping on another girls toes. She can play any position on the field it's just that you noticed her in goal because she has no worries about Girls being pushy and have attitude. However her best position is the 6 spot. Many coaches tell me that even when they saw her play goalie and she loves the field the most.

We all have to remember that they are just little girls and they want to be friends and to be liked. It's a long and fun journey!

Definitely agree it is a long road.  My 06' is my last of three rodeos.  I have an 00' & 02'.  I've seen the movie....its worth it!

One point, as girls go select, in particular D1, the part about "it's all about friends" starts to change.  The journey becomes about DD's deciding how serious do they want to take soccer...and along the way they will make friends/good friends. From select going forward, unfortunately, the highest levels are Darwinistic.

DTS does produce Epic good teams as you probably saw today in your game against them. The 06AP team will be epic good as well just wait and see.

No doubt that we were outmatched with speed and size. There were at least 4-5 girls that have hit puberty. My DD looked like a shrimp and she is 10 years old, 5 ft and around 90lbs. I know that puberty is coming and I will see a spike in her size but wow!

I am not complaining about the lost. My DD went jogging with her 01 idol. This was a first time for her to go running with her and I had little influence. Nothing like a 8-0 loss to push her.

Just remember that I was talking about 06 girls in this post. I still stand by that post and feel free to let me know when you beat either Solar Red 06 AP or Sting Black 06AP teams.

Under the old age grouping, the older players were simply considered good players.
