NEW FRIDAY EVENING INTENSE FOOTSKILLS, 1V1 AND 3V3 PROGRAM

Parents of academy soccer players U7-U10:

Starting this Friday (April 1st) at Blue Sky in Keller, 6.00-7.30, I'll be introducing a new intense footskills, 1v1 and 3v3 program for all academy players, boys and girls.

The format of the program is 30 minutes footskills, 30 minutes of 1v1 drills to encourage creativity and 30 minutes 3v3 scrimmaging in a round-robin format. The cost of the session is $10 per week. Payment can be made at the session.

For those of you a little further East, I'll be introducing it at The Branch in Carrolton in a few weeks on Sundays from 5.00-6.30.

Today's skills are rained out

We are on today for Friday night footskills/1v1/3v3 at Blue Sky in Keller from 6.00-7.30 (not a start time of 5.30 as the website says).

Additionally, the program will run at The Branch in Carrolton on Sunday from 5.30-7.00.

All academy players are welcome. The cost is $10 which can be paid at the session or by pre-registering online.

NEW SHOOTING AND FINISHING PROGRAM:

With effect from Friday, April 29th at Blue Sky in Keller, 5.00-6.00 and Sunday, May 1st, 4.30-5.30 at The Branch in Carrolton, I will also be starting a new Shooting and Finishing program which will incorporate various shooting drills with a focus on free kicks, penalties, shooting while dribbling, first time shots from different angles, weaker foot, etc. and also introducing tactics/technique to deal with high balls from corners/free kicks/crosses now heading has been banned. That program will involve a high amount of repetition and will hopefully lead to greater consistency in scoring opportunities and the identification of areas for development among individual players which may be leading to inaccuracy, a lack of power or balance in shooting. The cost for this program will also be $10. Goalkeepers are welcome to attend for FREE.

With the bad weather coming in shortly, there will be no skills programs tonight.

No skills at The Branch tonight due to an academy meeting by the club.

No programs at The Branch until further notice. With tournament season looming large, it is too unpredictable any given Sunday to get a good headcount depending on teams/players making semis/finals.

Hey guys, although the fields are a little damp currently at Blue Sky in Keller, the forecast is for sun for the rest of the day so they should dry up decently over the next 4 hours.

We will have shooting & finishing from 5-6 and skills/1v1/3v3 from 6-7.30. Cost $10 per session.
