'02 LHGCL teams going '01 or staying '02

Next week teams have to tell LHGCL if they plan to move up as an ’01 team or if they will stay ’02. I’m sure this weekend’s DI Playoff may affect some decisions. A few parents have told me the plan for their team and a few have posted on here their plans. Please PM or post updates as some of these may be incorrect.

Can someone NET this our? Only showing who will be 02 in 2016/2017. It looks like more 03s are moving up and a few 02s. Much appreciated.

Solar Chlesea Red 03 G is not going '01.
Half are going '02 and the other half are going '03.
Likely they will keep the bye in '02.

FC Dallas White has LHGCL Div II bye and will be playing '01.

Obviously all teams are having movement with move to age pure so no team will be the same as they were this past season.

It looks like FCD Black has a DIII bye.

Did something change?

U-15 '01 DII is looking to be a very large group of teams.

FC Dallas 02G East is taking a club bye into LHGCL as an 01 team.

Consistent with your statement above, what I have heard is that there were a large # of teams from last year's U14 & U15 with D2 byes that requested to be placed in U16 D2, and there were only 2 teams that requested D3 U16, so LH is looking at having only a D1 and D2 in U16 next year.  U16 D1 will be 10 teams (all of which had D1 byes awarded from U14/U15 play last year and requested U16 D1 this year), and D2 will be somewhere between 18-20 teams with the teams that requested U16 D2 + the 2 teams that requested U16 D3 + a small number of teams added via QT.  Based on the league standings from 2016-2017, D2 would get split back into 10 team D2 & 10 team D3 for U17 in 2017-2018 season.

A similar thing is happening in U18 ('99's) where there will a "normal sized" D1 (8 or 9 teams) and a D2 "Supergroup" with 18-20 teams, no U18 D3.

U11 and U12 will have 20 team D1 Supergroups and 10 team D3's for 2016-2017.

In all of the other age groups, the division requests were balanced enough that they will have "normal sized" (i.e. 8-10 team) D1/D2/D3 divisions in 2016-2017.

None of this is "final" yet, so it could change, but that is what is on the table for now.  My understanding is that LH plans to finalize and post the divisions assignments later this week.

Which means we'll get it some time after 7/1.

With the assumption of another year of 2 LHGCL Divisions. Can someone help me with the math?
