We tried and liked full circle to a degree, but it had very large class sizes and i wanted more individual attention and focus on the complete game.

Thanks for solving all my problems. Maybe you can work on peace in the middle East next ,. Clearly you have all the answers.

Interject I must. Messi, before you solve the Middle East crisis, maybe you could talk Toyota into building a few more soccer complexes around town instead of just sponsoring a few already built. Heck, I'd even be willing to drive a new 4Runner TRD Pro to show my gratitude.

Re: How to keep the DD sharp?
My recommendations for low intensity skills sharpening is Jeremy Petit at Global Futbal or the twins at City Futsal. Good return on investment and easy to schedule. Good luck to you and your DD

I had hard time to contact him.
Anyone know how I can get hold of him? Thanks.

Tiki-taka wrote:Not defending Messi, as I think he was too blunt and obviously doesn't know all the variables that went into the decision of Seven's DD, but I do find Seven's situation interesting, maybe even "counter-normal". I am being general here, but usually if DD is still very serious about soccer but thinks playing Club and High School is too much, they usually pick Club over High School. Again I am generalizing. It's curious that Seven wants to keep DD skills sharp, but DD is dropping Club Soccer. The "Why spend the extra money on skills to play "only" High School Soccer?" question has me curious. I think it is awesome that Seven and her/his DD have talked about her soccer desires and are working together. I have seen and continue to see kids that aren't into playing Club Soccer anymore but continue because they don't want to let their parents down.

Basically she has decided she does not want play in college. She told me that she has gotten enough "interest" from college coaches to know that she could play at the next level, if she wanted to. She still enjoys playing soccer, but is tired of the "club" grind. She like most DDs has been playing competitive soccer for most of their life. She loves HS soccer and playing for her school. The reason I am looking to "keep her sharp" is as most of you know, if you don't use it you lose it. I just want her touch and lungs to remain somewhat intact over the summer. I was thrilled when she was mature enough to tell me that she was done with club, I would hate to waste the time ,money, and energy on club ....just because she was doing it for her parents. That would be counter productive. I would not be surprised if come October or November she has a change of heart and decides she wants to play club again. If so we will start looking for a team that does not have 22 on the roster.

That may be a good alternative. Thanks for the idea.

If you do something like that, you have an easy opportunity for tournaments too...and she will have practiced with the girls leading up.
