Yes... team is split 50/50 on '00 and '99 players, so we moved up.

How did you guys obtain your D1 Bye? I thought you were D2 at end of this year? I am so very confused on who is going where and who will be in what divisions due to the lack of information from LHGCL.

Many teams moved around or out of the league.  Sting designated the D1 bye to a team that played D1 last year.

Which D1 bye did they designate to you guys??? the one from '00 Feretti or the one from the '99 Brown team?

I am trying to get an idea of how many '99 teams will be in D1 for the 2016/2017 season...

Sting Ferretti retained their D1 bye and will be playing as a 99 team in the upcoming year. Our team was split about 60-40 with 00's and 99's so we opted to stay together and play up instead of breaking the team apart and having the girls go their separate ways.

Well, the D1 play in tournament really did not mean much. 6 of the 8 teams that played in it are now in either U17 or U18 D1.

Yeah the one really don't understand is the Fever '00. Why are they in D1 on the u17. They were D2 last season and didn't when a play in tourney so why D1 next year?
