Let's get this started. 19 spots. What teams are out there?  How in the world is LH going to seed this thing?

Now that seems to be the real question doesn't it. Who are the top 10 teams out there that will be going through QT?

Not necessarily the question I was asking. Out of all the teams that were not in 05 last year with a bye in LH as well as the new teams. Who are the top teams?

My question is how do the recent mergers (Mustangs/Texans, Kicks/D'feeters, Andromeda/Solar) affect the QT's???

Triumph , Top ECNL club teams (10 in total , 140-160 05s) will play in JDL.   If the coach affiliated with ECNL club has a 05 D1 bye , there could be hybrid teams from ECNL clubs to fill in roster in D1, just to play in state cup.  LH D1 won't be competitive like it used to be anymore, talent is distributed in D1 and JDL. My 2 cents. Happy Father's Day !
Some coaches don't give a crap about state cup and are not keen to play D1.  They are focused on ECNL events already.

Let's keep this conversation going.....

LP Elite 05 will be playing in the LHGCL U12 qualifying tournament this summer. The team has been built around a strong core of AP 05 Elite players from last year's D1 Elite team. With the new player additions and the teams' successful showings in June at SuperCopa (made Finals competing against the pre-ECNL teams) and Flamefest (tournament champ with no goals allowed), I would think that LP Elite goes into July as the top seeded U12 team for the qualifying tournament.

And here's a wildcard prediction for the 2016-2017 soccer year....LP Elite will be in the top 3 in overall U12 power standings year-end factoring in top LHGCL D1 teams and all the pre-ECNL "A" and "B" PDL teams.

Now we're cooking.

Of teams going through QT, no doubt LP Elite is a top team.  Who else?  The teams are so spread out and so new.  Bellatores? Is Sting Covey in the convo? Is a Solar team going through QT?  FCD teams?

Honestly, with all these changes and the move of 10 teams to JDL, it seems really wide open with no known quantities.

OK. Since there is no FBR, name the top 10 going through QT.

We need to know who is in? How many teams will JDL siphon off? What is the correlation of teams in King Tut vs QT?. The only team that has said they are in and will be a top team is LP Elite.

My guess is somewhere around 10.

I had heard that some of the JDL teams may also play in LHGCL. I just don't know if that statement is true or not?
