05s 2016 QT

With all these extra game from the new leagues in LH, where will all these games be played?

Let's get back to the subject at hand. Assuming both D'Kicks teams and Solar Colvin go through LH QT, anyone care to take a stab at ranking the QT teams?

I'll re state ... There won't be any quality JDL programs/teams participating in both JDL and D1 divisions.  LH D1 will be watered down this year and continue to dwindle in the coming years.

My daughter's team is planning on playing D1 and JDL - the whole team.

All just a scam for the ECNL clubs to land more teams in LHGCL.

ECNL clubs move their "top" teams into JDL, domino the byes on down to where undeserving PPL teams are handed a LH slot.

It does very much help the big clubs. However not all ECNL clubs are big clubs. It also remains to be seen if FCD is mandating that all teams that had a D1 bye give it up and go to QT or if that was their own choice. Cannot imagine that those teams that were pulling in players because of the "bye" or were going to by the JDL team are happy that they are not doing both. Just curious on that.

and throw in the Mississippi ODP team somewhere--5-10 area.

I think these are pretty darn close given what I have seen (which is a very limited subset). My only changes would be to flip JM and Triumph. There is a whole lot of unknown going into this QT. Should make for some pretty interesting soccer matches.

With 19 open spots and +/- 26 teams entered, it may mean teams closer to the same level than sometimes happens in full QT with 45+ teams.

When King Tut schedules come out that will be more fun guessing who will win each group.. I am expecting some blow outs in those groups since grouping teams of equal skill will be difficult, and also since this is a FC Dallas tourney their teams usually get placed where they want. which getting a home field advantage is not uncommon with any club.

What do I know. Schedulers do what they want.

I do not want to Speculate- just going to form a theory or conjecture about a subject without firm evidence.

How many of the JDL team players do you think will develop onto other teams as guest players this weekend or how many players will not get to play on their teams due development (of rankings..) just making a topic. but seems the potential is high.

Also was wondering why JDL teams would not be playing this tournament for practice with Labor Day tourney coming up..it is only a Tune up Tournament of friendlies.. that seems to be the correct tournament for the league-What better way to Develop than Friendlies?

Maybe because to some people, 4 games in <48 hours in 100 degree heat, when not particularly necessary, isn't really worth it.

Just a thought...

Maybe they could just start scrimmaging each other early??

I cannot argue with you about it being hot.. can't say I would want to possibly play 3 weekends in a row between tut and lh qt. In nice weather. Much less in the July- August point of the year.

Well, I was sure wrong about some of these teams. Congrats to Fever and Kicks JM for great showings.

Alot of good games this weekend even in the heat.

Is it listed anywhere how many teams are going first round and how many second round? Probably right in front of me on the website but I am missing it.
