Their lack of good technical ability and soccer iq team wide was widely aparent. They could not break down a bad Sweden team that tactically out started them on the pitch.

Come on now, that's a bit of an overreaction isn't it? It sucks the US lost to a team that parked the bus in their defensive third then send 1 long ball over the top to the big fast forward. (Must have watched NTX play) In no way did the world catch up today. The weaker team won a single game today. No way Sweden can consistently beat the US playing like that. US - 64% Possession vs Sweden - 36% Possession. Pia setup Sweden the only way that they had a chance and was rewarded for it. Congrats to Sweden

France is a better team and has been for several years. That was a well played game on both sides.
I still don't see how 1 result today means the world is catching up. Please explain how Sweden is developing a better program.

Really? That game was ugly but they only needed a draw to win the bracket and could have lost and still advanced. They have a smaller roster in Olympic play, traveled 1,200 miles and played in 50% humidity. They played their backups for most of that game. It was ugly but again how is Columbia developing a better program.

How about how have ours not developed better? How about there are simply more and more women playing the game across the globe... finding more athletes to match our athletes. And tactically putting them in the best position to win... that's good coaching. Ellis was out coached today and our girls weaknesses were put on display. She knows rhem...

The grass on that pitch was awfully long. It had a far bigger impact on the fast US players, than the slow plodding Swedes.

If AP doesn't fix it I'm sure DA, ECNL, JDL, Composite, Champions, RPL, NL, LH, PPL, SRPL will solve everything.

Looks like you might have a hand in it... Didn't one of yours just help us beat T&T 22-0?

She scored 2 goals but I don't feel like I had a hand in it. I don't coach the YNT.
