Too many parents seem to think this sport is primarily for their entertainment. The competition heats up and they fall into the same fan habits they use while supporting their college and professional teams.

did the girls get lucky? you better get your DD out of competitive sports because thats "tame". if they didn't get lucky then he is ignorant. if they got lucky "i'd rather be lucky than good" as they say

Well I wouldn't consider the fact that the game was cancelled due to weather and field conditions as luck...

I think what the original poster is trying to say is...
To the guy who felt the need to talk crap to 13 year old girls, but not actually have the balls to do it to their faces, you're a DB. This type of behavior doesn't phase players at this age anymore, it just makes you look like an absolute idiot.

yes he is a DB if he said that to the girls. i thought the girls had beat his DD team and someone overheard him saying the other team got luck

The reason I don't post much on this forum is because most things I can look past and simply don't care to chime in...but when an adult is so immature that he feels the need to make senseless, distasteful comments in ear shot of 13 and 14 year old girls...not even directly to them...that's what I have an issue with. And for it to even be suggested that my DD be pulled from competitive sports is just as ignorant.
