Re: Vegas Cup Results
Some of the biggest teams out there were So Cal teams!4-4-2 wrote:Congratulations to NTX teams. But don't be fooled by the results. Watched several 05 and 06 NTX teams past weekend at Vegas. We play too direct and value athletes over soccer athletes. This style clearly works now but won't in a couple of years from now. Are we going to be competitive in 2-3 years from now against same teams. My answer is "yes". Are we going to be dominating in next 2-3 years. My answer is "No". We will struggle unless we recognize and fix that we have a major problem.
I was impressed by a few SoCal teams, East Coast teams that find feet , stringed more passes and were trying to building combination plays. They are not as fast and big right now.PowerKick wrote:Congratulations to all teams in Vegas to represent NTX the past weekend. It was really impressive.
However as a parent, I'd like to ask why NTX teams seems not continue their domination into older ages, such as U14, U15, U16 and U17, which are very important college recruit.
Really appreciate for any suggestion, need some serious inputs so I can guide my dd over the next few years.
Congratulations to above teams again.

Not sure if your referring to DTS 06's but if you have watched our games we are NOT a physical team. We are usually the smallest team out there and we rely on our skill, speed of play, and IQ to beat the other teams. If you want you can watch our video!
