Its kind of ironic that he couldn't keep his team together after he went around and created this invite only league for the top teams. KARMA

1) 08 girl looking
by soccerdadx1 on 28/09/16, 04:24 pm
My family and I recently moved to North Ft. Worth about 6 months ago and joined an academy team in Keller. The team has a very likeable coach and all the girls are very sweet but unfortunately most of the players on the team are in the beginning stages of development. My daughter has been involved in competitive soccer for about 4 years and she needs a team that can really push her.
Sadly, I don't see many teams in Ft. Worth so I have had to do some research on my own. There doesn't seem to be an abundance of teams west of Dallas and Dallas is just too far for us to drive.
If anyone in the know of the teams listed below can give me your opinion on the team and especially the coach we would appreciate it. My daughter needs to be on a competitive team and I really would like her to have a coach that can develop her
Fever 08
Sting West
Dallas Texans Molano
Thank you in advance

I would rather not name the team she is on now. We have nothing against the team or the coach, its just I don't feel it is a good fit for my daughter..
I did receive several PM saying Dallas Texans Molano team is a very strong team and has been together for a while. A couple of the messages stated they are the #2 team in North Texas.
Anyone know anything about the coach for that team?
I appreciate all the help the posters have given

Better question: Parents want their dd playing her disorganized kickball? Let's see how they do this weekend without their 2 08's helping(assuming they fulltime 08 now). Lot's could change by summer.
Kinda falls in line with DTS having to borrow 3-5 players from Saragusa to have enough players to play in league last season..They are currently posting looking for players to complete their roster now..How does a team that had to borrow players, got ranked with borrowed players, looking for players now to complete their roster get a JDL invite?
4) 08 Secret League
by soccerdadx1 on 09/01/17, 04:43 pm
My daughter was playing an indoor game this past weekend and I over heard people talking about how these top ranked teams are putting together a league just for them. Is this even possible? It must be organized by someone or some league? How does someone get all these teams from different clubs to come together and make a league? Can we get our daughters team into this league? Anyone else hear of this and know who is organizing this?

After doing some digging, I heard it was a team manager who put all this together..

It turns out that the team manager for the Dallas Texan Molano team Joe Hanly was the person who put this private league together. Some of the coaches I have spoken with lately say this league is better than the current JDL league. Here is a list of teams in this league if you are wanting your daughter to play on a competitive team.
Sting Black Diaz ( Daniel Diaz Dallas)
Dallas Kicks Rich (Dallas)
Solar Chelsea Richie/Lanier (Keller)
Dallas Texan Scarefone (Carrolton)
Dallas Texan Sutherland (Keller)
Fc Dallas Webb (Plano)
Liverpool FC Toshack (Frisco)
D'Feeters Colon (Farmers Branch)
Dallas Texan Molano (Midcities/Bedford)

In defense to Dallas Texan Molano coach, I was at this game, my DD was playing on the same field right after that game. We were waiting for Toshacks parents to clear the side line so we could move in.. I have never seen such poor sportsmanship from a group of parents than I did that day.. After the game the DT coach was leaving the field and Toshacks parents started badgering him. It wasn't one parent it was multiple parents badgering him as he was walking off the field.
I have no ties to either of these teams and my DD will be playing both of them this season. My family just recently moved her to Texas but I have been around youth soccer for many years and have never seen anything like it. At what point does an opposing teams parent feel they have a right to talk to an opposing coach?
Anyways, I don't know if this is what Texas soccer is all about but this wasn't something that I want my kid a part of or exposed to. My DD team families we all embarrassed to witness such classless acts by a teams parents.

The word going around is the team exploded because of the team manager. The parents didn't like how he managed the team. Parents I spoke to that were on the team said he was only concerned about his own daughter, he didn't have the team in his best interest. The parents also had an issue when the coach couldn't make the games, the team manager would play his daughter the whole game, and sub out everyone else, not being fair to the rest of the team. The parents on the team wanted to play Saturdays and Sundays but the team manager prolonged the registration for Saturdays until after registration closed. This is what happens when you have a team manager who doesn't know what he is doing and runs players off.
Its kind of ironic that he couldn't keep his team together after he went around and created this invite only league for the top teams. KARMA

Texans Molano is running like a well-oiled machine. The coach and manager are just great people, I mean really, really, just fantastic, and they are going to do great things, I mean just wonderful things.
The creation of the "super secret league" was an absolute necessity to keep out players from clubs and teams that are a clear danger to NTX soccer, until a proper extreme vetting process such as the QT can be implemented.
