Soapboxmom, I saw that an Agreed Motion to Dismiss was filed in your case today asking the Court to dismiss your claims with prejudice.  Thus, it seems that your case is finally over.   Congratulations on finalizing the settlement.  We are looking forward to finally learning the terms of the settlement.   I hope justice was served.

There is the settlement announcement. I only agreed to settle because I would have bankrupted GSA if I had gone forward. I got a good portion of my legal fees and nothing more. I will be meeting with the Garland board to resolve some of the issues in May. Upper levels of soccer are involved and I will update as appropriate on that.

Heather Dobrott and the Garland Soccer Association and David Arciniega announce that all matters in controversy between them in the lawsuit filed by Dobrott against the Association and Arciniega have been compromised and settled. No payment of damages was made to Dobrott, as that was no the purpose of her lawsuit. Further, Dobrott did not receive full reimbursement of her attorneys' fees incurred in pursuit of her lawsuit. As part of the settlement, a contribution to the Garland Soccer Association Scholarship Fund will be made in Dobrott's name. The parties have agreed in their settlement to confer and discuss the issues raised by Dobrott in the lawsuit and to work together toward a betterment or the Garland Soccer Association and the children it serves.

Wait... per her post to me, she promised that GSA had insurance and they would pay for all of this... GSA would not have to pay a penny. I am shocked that she had no clue as to what she was talking about. So, we can add another civil lawsuit to her name... I think this makes her 4th or 5th. Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... equals someone who wants to get free money by suing. She never had any intention of getting GSA to correct anything. She wanted the 100k but was fighting a losing battle. If I were a betting man, I would wager that she is prepping a lawsuit towards the evil empire aka Jevin.

This woman really is nutty. I just spent way too long on a thread on her website if you can call it that. If anyone wants a good laugh, read this thread where she installed cameras to spy on her neighbor then took the time to view the videos daily and edit them, post them, etc. It is insane. I apologize in advance for anyone that reads this nonsense. And I realized I can not get back those 20 minutes.

Sleazebag David Arciniega is gone and the crook he allowed to handle the Garland families' money is facing felony charges and got his a$$ totally trounced by me in court. I don't like scammers! I will happily put my time and money into fighting the good fight!
