UK Elite Soccer - Hockaday Extended Day Residential Camp

In 2017 U.K. Elite will be running another extended day residential soccer program at Hockaday School in Dallas.

Our extended day programs are aimed at serious soccer players, offering a week of enjoyable, challenging and rewarding experiences. The fantastic school facilities allow us to provide endless development opportunities and the extended day option is perfect for those who want to experience a "stay away" style program, while still going home at the end of each day. The camp is very popular with younger players because of this.

Over the course of five days, players experience roughly six hours of soccer a day with our professionally qualified coaching staff, from 8am – 7pm through technical, tactical, functional and physical training. Between practices, they are engaging in classroom sessions focusing on formations, tactical lessons, psychological factors and systems of play. Players also get the opportunity to review videos of themselves training and scrimmaging, during video analysis sessions. They receive two meals a day in the canteen and down time in the schools recreational areas.

We have a mixture of both individual and group registrations each year. We have had multiple teams join us in previous years and the improvement to their performance in what feels like a short space of time is phenomenal. It makes sense however, when you consider they are training with us for over 30 hours throughout the week (which is equivalent to 10 weeks training for the majority of teams). When individuals sign up they are assigned to a group containing children of the same age, then assessed and moved if appropriate based on their ability.
