DIII Predictions/Rumors

Does anyone care to take a stab at DIII this year for
seeding and predictions?


Rumor has it Dallas Texans White North is no more. If that is the case what happens? Does the bye go to the next team (FC Dallas
Black) in line or is there a team forming that will keep the bye at the Texans?


Rumor has it FC Dallas Black lost their keeper some time ago
and still has not found a replacement.



FC Dallas Blue is now Andromeda. Rumor has it they lost their keeper, top
forward, and best defender but have also picked up a couple good players.


Ft Worth United Gold is now Solar White. Will the name change bring additional talent
to this team? Did they keep all of the
team together during the transition?


Texas Spirit is now Liverpool 96 Gold. Rumor has it they only lost 1-2 players but
picked up 2-3 players.


FC Dallas White is now Liverpool 96 Red. Haven’t heard anything else about them.

The Texans White North bye is being taken by the Texans Red West Texas 96
which was 2nd in the API.

Why would 96 Texans Red West take it, they were 4th place in D-2 LHGCL.

It is not RED West but RED West Texas or RED WTX which was in the API

FCD White is listed as Liverpool White on the website. The Liverpool Red team (Plano Div. 2 team) is no longer listed at all.

Rumor has it FWFC White has folded.

Solar White lost 1 Mid/Forward (moved to 95 team with school friends) and 1 defender (HS V-Ball casualty). Rest of core returned. Replaced both with quality that will be at least equal if not better + 2 additional bonuses. We'll be in the hunt for the top I expect...........

FC Dallas Black has picked up a very good keeper. Very content with her abilities. We lost a few non starters and picked up a few starters.....Kept the core group of girls looking good so far..... Still looking for a couple of players.... Very content with the looks of things at this point....

Without N+1 (or some other > zero minimum) for returning players, the club keeps the bye earned by last year's team and can fill it with whomever they wish. This part of the rulebook is clearly about keeping big clubs happy and not about teams, players, promoting competition, nor general fairness. If there was one thing I would change about competitive soccer, it is the returning player minimum, particularly since LHGCL does their qualifier at the start of the new soccer year and not the end of last year so had plenty of time to re-seed. Texans WTX may have a pretty good team and may even be able to stay out of the cellar of D2, but that doen't make it right to bypass lower seeded teams who earned that spot. (oops, just tripped off my soapbox).

Just looked and FWFC 96 White is not listed on their website any more.

Hearing Liverpool White - formerly FC Dallas White is now a 96/95 team. So you can take them out of this list.

I believe ASG White was promoted to D2. FCD Black has the bye making NTX Strikers the likely #1 seed for the QT

That would have been the case last year. Going to U15 changes things.

(3) The 1^st through 7^th place U14 Division I teams and the 1^st place U14 Division II team from the previous soccer year will have earned a Bye into U15 Division I. The 8^th and 9^th place U14 Division I teams, the 2^nd through 7^th place U14 Division II teams and the 1^st place U14 Division III team from the previous soccer year will have earned a Bye into U15 Division II. The 8^th and 9^th place U14 Division II teams and the 2^nd through 4^th place U14 Division III teams from the previous soccer year will have earned a Bye into U15 Division III.

What would happen if a DII team folded? Would ASG White move up and then FC Black get a bye? Maybe that is a possible scenario??

Not likely that any club with a D2 bye does not fill the spot. The bye is as good as cash to the club, there is always a team somewhere who will move to the club to utilize the bye, if they do not have another team already w/i the club who could use the bye.

Not sure how that would work. It is a good possiblilty but I believe most clubs would "find" a team to give the bye to. In the case of DT North White's bye going to DT Red West WTX.

new coach at Liverpool, teams done well with him. We'll be prepared and fighting for our position back in DIII.
