Super Y Mid-South
Super Y Mid-South
Anyone on here know what teams will be making up the new Mid-South conf of the Super Y League in August? We are set to play in Dallas and Austin in August. Just wondering who we will be playing...Thanks!

Re: Super Y Mid-South
To my knowledge, we (OEFC) are just sending our first team, my daughter's team OEFC 05 Central, to play in this league so I was trying to figure out what teams we will be facing. It sounds like it's only 2 weekends in Aug, one in Austin and one in Dallas. At least that is what our manager put on our Team Snap calendar.
The SYL website has announcements of all the clubs as they were invited and accepted but there is nothing in their calendar or schedule for this new Mid South Division. Just trying to find out anything...
here is a link to when the Texans SC Austin was added: http://www.sylsoccer.com/news_article/show/779496?referrer_id=2280320
FYI I think we are tentatively slated for the Midwest All Girls Invitation in KC in Sep, the Dallas Texans Fall Festival Tournament in Nov, the Phoenix Cup in Feb, and the Dallas International Girls Cup in March
Should be a fun season...

Best of luck to your DD's team, and hope you find the league serves your purpose, and that the competition is worth the travel cost. Just don't expect to find a lot of buzz about this league on this forum, because frankly, there are at least 4-5 other league options with stronger competition that NTX clubs/teams play in on a regular basis.

Thanks for the feedback. That is what I was afraid of. At least it's only two weekends. Our state is kind of in disarray right now. Several clubs pulled out of our State association and our state isn't that big to begin with...lol. I was hoping the SYL would provide some competition but it sounds like it may not. If we can make it through the fall we should have some competition through SRPL. We also should see some quality matches in our tournaments...
Thanks again!
