07 FBR 6-27-17

Updated 07 FBR as of 6/27/17. Only 07 teams with 3 or more games played since 2/13/17 are included in the FBR published rankings. All games in the U10 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included.  07 vs 07 games in U11 division are also now included.  The crazy AP switch is behind us, so 07 teams playing up have been playing as pure 07s.  IF FBR07 gets wind an 07 team plays with 06s on their roster, that specific game or potentially all of those games in higher division will be removed for that team.

Also, ranking points are derived from who you play and their tier(not your own tier) and, how well the teams you play do.  As always regulation scores are used for FBR, not OT and no PKs that determine game result(if known).  FBR is presented as W/L/T not W/T/L.  While BWGophers consults, advises and offers technical advice, this FBR is the sole representation of FBR07,  any and all complaints(and compliments) should be directed to FBR07.  These rankings use the same software and criteria as with all prior year FBRs.

How does a team points change when they have not played a game in the last week

I would guess that older games have dropped off which could change a teams overall score.

Question of the Day! As we get closer to qualifying does anyone plan to do a mock breakdown of projected brackets for LHGCL? Always interesting to see the final FBR matched against the seeding.

So are u saying another teams games dropped off because the team in question had no change other than score

The data base for FBR is "dynamic".  If any games are added or dropped from one week to the next, it can affect any and all teams point totals.

For example, strength of schedule is calculated by using your opponents' WeightedWin-WeightedLoss record, AND your Opponents' Opponents' WeightedWin-WeightedLoss record.  So even if none the opponents in your history changed, if one of the teams' that any one of your opponents played added or dropped a game, it could affect your team's points.

Also, points are calculated in each category as a % of the top team points in that category.  So lets say the team with the highest Strength of Schedule, or the highest WeightedWins total had a game added or removed in the past week which changed their total in that category... then every other team's points in that category would change as well.

Those are just a couple of examples.
