Evolution looks seeded a little low to me as a 3rd seed in Bracket C. The Waco team doesn't appear to have any history and could surprise. Getting to the second weekend out of ANY bracket will be tough. Top 4 after the second weekend will certainly have earned it.

Revolution is a 1 seed...Evolution is the three from what I can tell. And that seems low. Doesn't really matter of course. All will have to prove it on the field.

So by those numbers...D is the toughest...and I didn't know much about Shock, but they had a nice run this weekend.

Imo. Getting to the second weekend will be tough...surviving he second weekend will be extremely difficult. Very bunched together.

Given those numbers, there seems to be a little gap between the top two and the bottom two (or 1) in each bracket (excepting Evolution and Shock). We may get some surprises after some "age pure corrections", some roster moves, and the maturing of some teams. I think throw the numbers out and show what you can do. To me this is the toughest QT yet.

Any surprises thus far? A slew of ties and 1 goal games (save Celtic)...results will be hard to come by.

TX Shock was projected to beat FCD Silver by 2 goals and instead it was a 1-1 game.

FCD West Red was a 2 goal favorite over FC Divas and the game resulted in a 1-1 draw.

Mansfield Revolution was a 1 goal favorite and tied FCD North Red 0-0.

Colleyville Evolution was a 1.5 goal favorite over Dallas Texans Central but lost 2-1.

Yeah, this signing period provided a little change since most of these teams had the rough adjustment after the age pure shift. I would think that the games will continue to be close and the numbers are basically insignificant since they rely mostly on last year's team data.

Looking at some of the more recent history (June and July) shows that these teams have changed some. Though we played a lot of them last year, roster additions and subtractions will play a large role.

Anyone know when LH will update the results with points? I'd like to see the points earned, goals scored for/against etc.-not just the scores.

That's exactly right. That's why they play the games. Teams are constantly in flux from one year to the next. Interesting to see who recruited well in the off season.

Congrats to:
FCD WTX, DT Central Wilson, and LP Barnes who have already mathematically clinched a spot next weekend. Looks like EVERYONE else can qualify with a win though some need help.

From what I have seen, the teams look relatively evenly matched for the most part: 18 games so far-8 draws, 6 1 goal games, 2 2 goal games. Expect that at the QT. Fortunes change with every goal...
