Any thoughts on the 04 QT...
Bracket A
1) FC DALLAS WTX 04G LUGO (F: 05G LUGO)
2) DALLAS TEXANS WEST 04G
3) FC FRISCO STORM BLACK 04G
Bracket B
1) NTX CELTIC FC 04G MAYES
2) FC DALLAS YOUTH 04G SILVER
3) TEXAS SHOCK 04G
4) WACO UNITED 04G
Bracket C
1) REVOLUTION 04 GIRLS MOULTON
2) DALLAS TEXANS CENTRAL 04 WILSON
3) COLLEYVILLE SA EVOLUTION 04G
4) FC DALLAS YOUTH 04G NORTH RED
Bracket D
1) AMERICAS FC 04G
2) SPFC TEXAS SAO PAULO FC 04 GIRLS SEDEH
3) FC DALLAS YOUTH 04G WEST
4) TEXAS SPURS FC 04G MCMULLAN
Bracket E
1) LIVERPOOL 04 GIRLS BARNES
2) FC DALLAS YOUTH 04G WEST RED
3) FC DIVAS
4) TEXAS HURRICANES 04G
Evolution looks seeded a little low to me as a 3rd seed in Bracket C. The Waco team doesn't appear to have any history and could surprise. Getting to the second weekend out of ANY bracket will be tough. Top 4 after the second weekend will certainly have earned it.

Re: Any thoughts on the 04 QT...
So by those numbers...D is the toughest...and I didn't know much about Shock, but they had a nice run this weekend.
Imo. Getting to the second weekend will be tough...surviving he second weekend will be extremely difficult. Very bunched together.
Given those numbers, there seems to be a little gap between the top two and the bottom two (or 1) in each bracket (excepting Evolution and Shock). We may get some surprises after some "age pure corrections", some roster moves, and the maturing of some teams. I think throw the numbers out and show what you can do. To me this is the toughest QT yet.

FCD West Red was a 2 goal favorite over FC Divas and the game resulted in a 1-1 draw.
Mansfield Revolution was a 1 goal favorite and tied FCD North Red 0-0.
Colleyville Evolution was a 1.5 goal favorite over Dallas Texans Central but lost 2-1.

Re: Any thoughts on the 04 QT...
Looking at some of the more recent history (June and July) shows that these teams have changed some. Though we played a lot of them last year, roster additions and subtractions will play a large role.

Re: Any thoughts on the 04 QT...
That's exactly right. That's why they play the games. Teams are constantly in flux from one year to the next. Interesting to see who recruited well in the off season.dadof3 wrote:Yeah, this signing period provided a little change since most of these teams had the rough adjustment after the age pure shift. I would think that the games will continue to be close and the numbers are basically insignificant since they rely mostly on last year's team data.

Re: Any thoughts on the 04 QT...
FCD WTX, DT Central Wilson, and LP Barnes who have already mathematically clinched a spot next weekend. Looks like EVERYONE else can qualify with a win though some need help.
From what I have seen, the teams look relatively evenly matched for the most part: 18 games so far-8 draws, 6 1 goal games, 2 2 goal games. Expect that at the QT. Fortunes change with every goal...
Best of luck tomorrow!

FCD west red
FCD west tx
Americas FC
NTFC mayes
It's kind of entertaining to watch parents wander between pitches on the last games of the last day with hopes of Team X beating Team Y or if Team Z loses but gets two goals then......
