Well after the last post plus this one I am glad my DD isn't an 07. You guys are going nuts. Calling out girls and complaining because JDL kids play on other teams. You are just lucky that full JDL teams didn't play...... If one JDL player wipes you out then maybe you have bigger issues then you want to admit! There is a reason the best 07 teams are playing up...... just sayimg. Winning by double diets every week gets old........ dry your eyes you wine bags!

It would appear that you didn't read my post very well then. What I said was the Solar Byars team beat the FCD Premier team in the Tut handily and then when they squared off again in the last game of the LH for all the marbles (so to speak) the FCD team stepped up huge and shut down the entirety of the Solar team (with specific emphasis on one of their many "secret weapons") with a 1-0 victory.

There's no crying. If what they did was within the rules (however unsavory) then it is what it is. The FCD team handled their business.

And, full JDL teams did play -- except for one. (Go to the 06 pages and there is plenty of crying about JDL teams flooding Division III. They aren't making that mistake again in 07.)

Spot on with that...especially with sting who has no presence in D1 or D2 for the 06 group. Glad the 07's learned from that business mistake.

Well, Sting Heinz isn't helping Sting with its presence in D1 (or D3 for that matter).  But, Bracket T is going to be interesting tomorrow.  Maybe Sting Doyle will step in and take that spot.  They and FCD Central could get D1 with a win, or D3 with a loss as a 12 point 3rd place team, due to Sting Heinz losses).  And, maybe Sting Heinz wakes up and Solar Gonzalez suddenly needs some help to get D1 (doubtful)?

all posted now.

upsets of the day:

  • quiroz beating fever, effectively winning A
  • llamas tying formacao
  • kounas tying byars
  • the realization that the red card in round 1 ended Heinz's LH prospects (that is, if she was an impact player)

Bracket S:
D1:  Solar Quiroz (barring total collapse)
Fever max points 21 (could be outside looking in, unless they get help, a number of teams have a path to 22 pts)

Bracket T:
Gonzalez(18) win or tie(most likely) and in vs Heinz
Sting Doyle(12) vs FCD Central(12)  Max points 22 , win and max points could get D1 w help.

Bracket U:
NTX Celtic Mayes(18) vs LP Alonso(18):  Winner D1
Loser probably D3
Unless they tie then both could be in(22pts or more).

Bracket V:
FCD North(16) vs Solar Byars(15):  Winner in, loser D3.  FCD D1 in event of tie based on 1 pt advantage. I think Byars has to win for D1.

Bracket W:
FCD Bean(20) vs D’Feeters Kicks Santos(19):  Winner in D1, tie probably both in but FCD gets the bracket win.

Bracket X
Solar Rundell(18) vs Sting Parsons(19):  Winner is in.  Tie Parsons in on pts, Rundell at least 22 pts on tie, maybe in.

Bracket Y:
Texans Mayes(20) vs DFeeters Kicks Formacao(15):  Winner in.  Formacao D3 w a loss or tie(most likely) .

Lots of big, winner take all, games tomorrow.

so for the first time in many years it looks like the sting legacy of putting teams into d1 has come to an end..maybe signs of a old guard sinking and feet finally putting together a better staff and possibly surpassing sting. looks like Heinz and Parsons couldn't do it.  Great job and congrats to feet.

Sting has one in D1 -- Larry.  Sting Heinz collapse was surprising.

In the end, 18 of the top 20 seeds made D1, which is pretty good ranking.  The only two top 20 seeds not to make it appear to be Sting Parsons and Sting Heinz....  (assuming I tracked things correctly).  I believe 27 of top 30 seeds made LH (all but Sting Heinz, Celtic Fogle and LP Callaghan).

Post by hetlevenisvoetbal 30/07/17, 09:16 pm

My Apologies to Sting Larry and Congratulations to their team for making it and keeping Sting afloat JK!  cheers

PS..I dont think it was a mistake about not playing LHGCL and JDL, it was all about the money and extra teams.  It looks more like greed than a mistake.

I had seen a post earlier where Heinz was advertising for JDL.  If that is the case, it looks like it's going to be a tough year for those kiddos.

I guess JD taking those 07's and his other groups to DT really screwed the West Division of Sting.  No good Sting coaches left in the West.

The only option is FC Dallas West and Dallas Texans West for good coaching.

Hopefully Sting Larry Helps out Heinz for JDL or maybe they should just make Larry and Parsons the JDL teams.

I honetly think that its unfair for Sting to put these Heinz kiddos in JDL when they can't even make classic.

i didn't read sean's posts the same way you did; i read it as sting was carrying two pool teams, and all girls in the age bracket would have an opportunity to try for those teams. i've been under the (possibly incorrect) impression that only fcd and solar have designated league teams as jdl teams; the others (texans, sting, feet) are pooling players.

You may be correct and i may have misinterpreted it, the post was a while back when I saw it.  It does make sense to pool players for his and the kiddos sake.

I cant comment about his coaching abilities becasue I don't know anything about him.
