When you struggle to compete

I totally get struggling to compete on the field. I don't get borderline assaulting an opponent when you struggle to compete on the field. And I really don't get walking off with a big grin on your face when you realize the opponent you borderline assaulted is in significant pain, taking pleasure in their pain. When one continues to lose week after week, I'm not sure what there is to smile about.

And just maybe, if a ref who is standing a few feet away looking right at the play wouldn't claim, "I didn't see it", we wouldn't have to be lectured by LHGCL every year about how they lose 50% of their refs each year because they can't handle parents yelling at them.

I'd rather not go there because my intent is not to start a pissing match with another team. Just simply voicing frustration. Teams that do this know who they are.

Oh my goodness me! So sorry... I was looking at the wrong dates! The eyes aren't what they used to be I suppose. Plus, I MAY have seen a name that reckons us all back to assaults aplenty across age groups, no? Lol

He actually never said it was an 04 game.  Could have been watching an 04 game next to an 03 game.  

Player repeatedly and clearly tripped and attempted to trip opponents from behind, including once when a ball had already gone out and an opponent was going to retrieve it.  Subsequently was throwing elbows and eventually ran a goalie who had clearly made a save, kicking her in the face and giving her a bloody nose.  Ref called no fouls on any of them until the goalie didn't get up and he walked over and saw she needed medical assistance.

If he is one of "the 50%", everyone is safer for it.
