New Club Forming-Multiple Locations in DFW-DA+

FC Park Cities offers practice locations all over the city. Highland Park, Lakewood, Southlake and Collin County. Our locations were picked after meticulous scouting for cities with the highest per capita income in DFW. This will be a very exclusive club because we plan to charge significantly more than that club in Frisco, so we don't have to field a gazillion teams to make our return. It's like driving a Toyota or a Lexus, people will know you paid more for the lexus, whether it's the same car or not.

We plan on offering DA+ "Developed Academy" no need to waste your time at a club that can never finish the job of developing, our teams will be Developed from day one and there will be a $200 patch on the uniform that screams Developed.

Since we plan on charging more and not offering scholarships, We can spend more on the kits and charge more. The jersey will have so many advertising patches on it, that your kid will look like a nascar vehicle running around the pitch. Our parents swag will be intricately woven FC Park Cities golf shirts that let the water cooler crowd know you've made it.

Tryouts are open now, we charge $50 per player and a parental credit app for us to evaluate. We don't plan on changing club soccer, just taking it to the next level quicker.

Looks like you will be trying to compete with US Soccer DA program, so I have a few questions:

1 - Will DA+ players be allowed to play high school soccer?

2 - I hear there are a bunch of head-case parents out there.  Will there be a regular mental evaluation of parents (on top of DA's daily mental evaluation of players)?

3 - Will DA+ teams be allowed to participate in tournaments against non-DA+ teams, or are you afraid of losing to teams that don't utilize your "proprietary development methods".

-We tend to frown on kids attending High school in general, unless it's a private school. If their heart is set on it, we have a HS play fee. These kids should focus on the long term payday of professional womens soccer.

-We do have a Chiropractor that can write prescriptions on staff. Sedated parents are good soccer parents.

-Since our kids are already developed we don't hide from competition.

How will the teams travel to out-of-town games? I hear some teams around here are taking school busses or Park and Ride to games outside DFW.

Do you have a website?

Would love to hear the Vision and Mission statements of the club. Also do you have a profile of the coaches so we may see this developmental quality?

Are practices closed or open to view?

If open, is there a cost for watching practice? and what about for games?

Are parents allowed to bring chairs to games? Is there a fee for that?

Will there be sideline take down tactics training for the parents? or even just random strangers who like to hangout at kids soccer games on the weekend to increase their fighting skills.

We are still working on our website but you can pull up www.fcdallas.com. We plan on using most of that info only charging more for fewer teams.

We are tired of hearing coaches and clubs excuse a loss because they teach possession soccer...how long do we have to wait for this to work? We have coined a new term for our style of soccer: Possessed-Long Ball, we've taken the best of all worlds and combined it. Our teams will be taught to make one pass and then launch it down field to one of our 5 strykers waiting to score.

Possession leads to many kids standing around like cones. When you have super athletic, and aggressive kids, they don't need to waste their time on waiting for the cones to move.

A good defense is always the equalizer at that point you got to play some soccer w skill.

Leave the skill in SoCal. Red Card players please.

Why are you hating on all my homies in Cali? I am bringing all my peeps east for a full fledge Texas invasion.. We are bringing all our DDs and will dominate all the starting spots on all the best teams soon. I suspect that maybe even Strikers or Slammers, or any of the other top Cali clubs will "merge" ie take over some of the so called "bigs" in Texas. It will be a revolution! Remember the Alamo?

Mental edge you might add your services to help.some of the parents on the forum. They will be there too w their kids. Upsell your business. I think they need your help more than the kids.

Invasion of Cali kids? Sounds like NTX soccer is definitely on the upswing.

Perfect timing Vic to appeal to those Cali parents who are used to overpaying for everything - they will fit perfectly in the NTX soccer world.

i know they are not the best clubs in cali but they most resemble some of the clubs that are more about the money than the talent. The real soccer clubs in Cali don't want NTX style of soccer to corrupt their kids

They don't huh?  Did they tell you that?  

They didn't have to.. I lived it with my oldest (U16 now) when she played for Blues till we moved to collin county as part of the mass exodus east and then she decided to play volleyball. Volleyball is bigger in Texas than Cali. It's a fun sport and way more organized than soccer. If my youngest would ever grow, maybe she would convert to so I could get off the crazy train.

Take away the summer heat and all the rednecks who think they are John Wayne and Texas is not a bad place. At least I don't have to be a closet republican here. I do miss the checks I received from Edison because my little house in Redondo used less electricity than I generated with my solar panels. though.

My U16 said everyone is crazy to be playing soccer in 110 degree heat. She 6ish feet tall is a pretty good blocker and has made some really good friends cuz almost half of her club volleyball friends play high school volleyball together. She is having more fun and doesn't have heat strokes anymore.
