How did those FCD vs. DT GDA games go today?
A little rain at 60 degrees didn't stop you from playing on those FCD turf fields, did it?
Bock bock.
Where did Zizou and BigEgo go?
Winter is coming to an end. Looking for good weather and watching good soccer. How about you?
So what happened Zizou?
All those FC Dallas fields you've been bragging on, and you couldn't find one to play on?
bock bock
Why the dodge Ziz? BigEgo?
bock bock
Man, I have no clue.

Carry on, I'm going back to watching this @#$2$ show from the sidelines.
I know it was late but it was ... respectable (which you generally are), not respectful.
So how is this ...
"I'm still waiting for your smart ass response to my statement bubba", or this ...
"Face facts ... you just sometimes don't know every damn thing", or getting super personal by saying this ...
"If your momma read your posts... You would be under her skin as well."
demonstrating your being "respectful"?
Again -- I generally respect what you have to say so ...
What was is that you so adamantly thought I needed to respond to? Why would I want to "discredit" Dorrance and Crooks to support any argument I have? What facts do I need to face in which you are under the impression that I'm opposed to?
... and a new one ...
What "@#$2$ show" are you claiming to be watching from the sidelines?
I believe you're the only one that has ever answered a single question I have posed here ... Would love it if you'd humor me (not literally, just the figure of speech) with just a few more

I would not call that late.
Isn't you kid a junior or senior this year ziz... Great player, wish her well at the next level.
Thank you,
I just think the cards have already been played by both groups. A marriage at this point would only happen if the other decided to take a back seat. Good luck with that!

Or maybe you are just too chicken *LANGUAGE* to give a straight-up, honest answer about why your oh-so impressive club, with their oh-so impressive fields had to cancel DA games because they couldn't find available fields to play on.

I'll attempt to crack an egg on this one.. FCD rents out their turf fields to Frisco Soccer Association. FSA had games scheduled, not sure if FSA canceled their games but FCD had to wait on FSA is what I heard..

Dude ... chicken ... bubby ...
You have to know how pathetic this attempt at a stab towards those that have kids playing at FCD is, right? To be honest, this and any of your other recent inquiries aren't worthy of a response. I'm literally embarrassed to be responding to this one, but ...
1) FC Dallas Youth does not own the fields nor are they able to make decisions as to which fields are open and when.
2) I've heard that the grass fields outside of #1 are closed until late March.
3) The Texans refused to move games to Sunday ... they were "busy".

Agreed that the forum itself is a %$ show ...
Do you ever get the feeling that the primary reason why this thing is so toxic, is that there are so many scorned parents on here with multiple logins spreading unfounded rumors based on widespread misconception just to stir up a bit of drama? Hmmm ...
And when you really think about it, hasn't it always has been this way? This begs the questions ...
If there hasn't been a "single good debate" here recently, when was there one? What would make a great debate now? Why don't you propose one? If there were a good debate, would the forum cease being a %$ show in your mind, and once again be up to your standards?

If you check the FSA site, you will notice that the season does not begin until this weekend.

Agreed there are many scorned parents on here with multiple logins just stirring the pot or just racking up post counts just to smirk at folk on here that even attempt to engage them.
Hell, back in the day I had a couple... those days are I can happily say long behind me. I found my happy place, learned my lesson, just enjoy watching my DD kick tail... who knows, but this space is no longer what it was.
There are many good debates that could be initiated, but sadly they would just be overrun by the trolls and then lead down that stupid black hole every thread does now.
Read a great piece this morning about the gentleman that actually helped Pullisic get to Dortmund... who was actually at Barcelona at 14, and the guy convinced his parents it was the wrong move... "Barca didnt pay for your flights over and hotel... they arent actually looking very hard at him"... he discussed how Christian would be stuck in USL right now if he had stayed playing for a club stateside... great discussion could be had from that...
but Im going to go and watch the local weather radar instead... freaking raining again....

What's the point of being surrounded by 10 beautiful fields that can't be used 6 months out of the year?

Nice ATP --
And I think I read a similar Pulisic article recently. I could be wrong, but I doubt there'd be much debate that he made the right choice going across the pond as a youngster. Having parents with the professional means to get him exposed to big time training environments all over Europe certainly didn't hurt.

Re: Announcing New Club Invites
the debate is why he needed to make that move...
Im lucky to be able to say Ive spents some time at Barca, watched my kiddo training inside la masia, futsal, but was then able to speak with the coaches, one being the second man in charge of their 1st team... another now the 1st team coach... to hear their thoughts, the approach.. hell even the parents approach to the childrens development... eye opening.
spent time at local clubs in catalonia and spoken with those staff, and the relationships with what we call "independents" here have with the Barcas, espanyols of the world... refreshing... its a hand in hand relationship, holistic approach that mines the fields for those eventual first teamers...
now if only we had that kind of relationships built here...
ECNL working hand in hand with DA/the federation... which I do still here discussions are ongoing...
but Im not beating that !#@#$# horse again.

Negative. Matches were canceled on Friday morning after the Texans refused to go to Sunday.

A little off on the numbers here but I get it. And ...
My answer is I don't have the first clue. Maybe they are built with a super duper fancy sod that doesn't do well with a lot of use during cold weather. And maybe the powers that be determined that opening them earlier last year led to too much damage. I'm an educated man, but I'm afraid I can't speak intelligently about the decision making habits of William Santiago. What I do know is that the games were canceled due to the Texans refusing to play on Sunday instead. Now, are these the questions I was really called here to answer? Phone calls and foot lockers? Please tell me that you have something more, chicken.

I would have a lot more respect for Jerry and his cronies if they would DONATE the soccer lands for use and charge for maintenance and improvements only. It would be a nice tax write off with his sunk investment in the youth fields at Toyota and Moneygram (although not sure who owns that land fill).. or let him charge FCD for the entire Toyota complex with the stadium rental..
