The hypocracy of DA versus ECNL is a joke. I get a good laugh out of that. Ha ha ha.....

Colorado is at least part of the NT considerations. NTX not so much, never has and prob never will given the political aspect of it. Sad really.

I’ve seen more NT players from NTX in the past 3-4 years than I’ve seen ever. It is improving. Two and even three players per age group.

And with any luck, MC will come back to NTX to continue identifying those players

The information is confusing. EcNL has been demoted by the clubs to third string. Is that what you wanted? Your greed devalued the league by yourselves. Mo money Mo problems. You think those parents are happy about that being demoted. Will they be ok moving to DA2.

Where do you get ECNL being 3rd string? Second behind DA is a good topic that will be discussed at length 47 more times between now and Christmas.

I missed this post. I can pretty much go back to the '93 age group and come up with 2-3 YNT call-ups per age group, so I don't think much has changed...

*edit* As I thought about it more, I couldn't come up with 2 for the '96s. Also, one thing that has changed is that when players are picked it's announced on TDS/Twitter/etc and back in the day it was more word of mouth how people learned others were called up.

Solar post them on Facebook and their website. FCD post them on their website I believe. Sting I’m sure post them on their website. Texans , I don’t know. Being apart of the NTX seen the past 8 years you get to know the players, played against the players and played with some of them.

— No trouble at all. But there’s always someone better. Someone you haven’t heard about. Someone disgruntled with their club and looking for a new experience. Someone passed over for political reasons. And yes, NTX is deeper than Oklahoma (that’s not a debate, it’s a fact due to population). At the DA/ECNL level we should all be looking for the best and not being complacent.

Not sure how many girls will travel from NTX to OKC to play soccer, but I guess there could be a few. How many Tulsa (ECNL) kids will the DA attract for Energy?

It's also possible that people living close to the border and driving down might make sense to drive up. Or possible job changes that soccer might have been a downside to moving to an area.

I would guess few if any. The structure of the teams/practices etc. hasnt officially been announced yet. They are telling us that practices will take place in Edmond and Tulsa so there will be travel every week, and you will get one or two practices as a full squad weekly. That would also create more travel issues for anyone coming from NTX. West, Central and East teams spread across the State will all be combining into one team. Just a lot of questions still to be answered.
