No doubt the fields are pristine and the facilities are awesome. Not trying to say one club is better than the other.. I would just hope FCD leadership provides the girls/women equal opportunity to look as good as the men do with proper fitting uniforms and has equal ability to play at Toyota as the boys/men for tournaments and such.

Both of my DD's love to go to Toyota to watch the professional matches. We always like upgrade our tickets to gain access to the posh-posh accoutrements when the girls forego their $10 coffee/dessert like beverages for a month so we can afford to upgrade.

My point is the girls/women are just as big of FCD professional soccer fans as the boys, they support the FCD organizations with both time and money as much as the boys, and should be given just as much respect within the club and on the pitch as the boys. In many instances the girls/women play much better and more competitive soccer than the boys..

This isn't a who's club is better than that club conversation.. It's about FCD not ignoring a significant fan base.. As Michael Corleone once said.. "It's not personal Sonny.. It's just business."

The women’s side of FCD is growing by leaps and bounds. FCD ‘s Women’s youth programs are competing honorably within the region and nationally. I’m sorry but , and I respect your opinion , but I’m not seeing the disrespect. Now the women’s pro team is coming and MLS will not brand a women’s team under FCD. They will need to find ways to fund the team and create a new name and uniform. Could be interesting in 2019. I also know that you don’t want to hear this but the GDA program is being funded at this point by the hunt family and FCD.

Didn't say FCD was disrespecting the girls/women.

All I asked is if the women were going to get women cut uniforms and have the same opportunity to play at Toyota as the boys. Legit questions that did not infer discrimination unless of course the answers to these questions are "No"

We practice at Toyota twice a week and money gram twice a week. All games except for one have been played at Toyota park. No our uniforms are not women’s cut.

Sorry don’t have any knowledge of those clubs in the region nor nationally. Haven’t seen them their to observe how their doing.

Well put and I couldn't agree more Futbal --

The FCD girls are offered (and most at U13+ go with) women's cut shorts, but have worn the same tops as the boys to this point.  Maybe that will change with the new kits next year?

Would be awesome if the girls could look as good in their uniforms as they look playing the game.. Plus.. girls like to discreetly grab everything to gain an advantage.. Proper fitting uniforms will actually help make them play better than they already do.

The volleyballers have purpose built and designed for women uniforms so that they can not only move freely to vballs coming down on them at 60+ mph, but also not to hinder their ability to get optimal body contact on the ball when they are defending or striking back.

As a dad, I am not a huge fan of the shorts they have to wear because of the perverts in the world, but my DD says they actually are better than any other type of short and for once to "quit acting old".

That red adidas and blue adidas short should come in a women’s cut. Slap a FCD patch on them and you are ready to play. My DD and my pocketbook have not had any complaints about the uniforms.

Why set the bar so low? There shouldn't have to be complaints or concessions... The girls should have the best gear to help them play the best soccer; JUST LIKE THE BOYS..

That is the only point I am trying to make. A high performing athlete should not to settle for anything.

FCD teams practice in smaller space than any other club I have been associated with or heard of (GDA excluded, I'm sure).

I've never seen or heard of 8 or more academy teams "practicing" simultaneously on one field except at FCD.

8 has to be an exaggeration....I’ve seen 5-6, not at FCD.

But it depends on the age and how effectively the coach/coaches utilize a small grid.

My dd practiced with 8 teams on a field at FC Dallas - regularly 6-8 (and sometimes even more - the most being 11).

As we stood next to beautiful, open, grass fields that the club didn't want to rent.
