Last summer I set up two Saturdays where we had round robin scrimmages (28 teams over three different age groups), was thinking of doing more of that this summer instead of an indoor league. I have spoken to three other coaches that are interested in the scrimmages. I will put it out there for the masses to see who else might be interested. Shooting for mid June to do the first one. Brian, not sure a mid June date is ideal with several teams going to Denver the weekend of the 15th. I could also see those teams being against the weekend before and after but who knows. Of course you could still do it but the Denver teams (or those teams sending guest players with a team) won’t be able to participate.

He is looking to add more teams! Contact him. Games are at Soccer Spectrum in Richardson. It's a "friendlies" league. 9v9 or 7v7 for '09 girls and other ages.

I agree with you Proph, didn't think about the Denver tourney. Good luck to all you teams going.

A little birdie told me Ellen was possibly putting something together for a summer get together, I'll wait to she what she has brewing... Until then, I'm going to enjoy the summer HEAT and see you all at the fields...
