FCP Dynamos - Holding Open Practice Sessions

The FCP Dynamos are looking for 3-4 players to help finish out our roster for next year.  Hoping to find players with Classic level talent.

Looking for a Center Back, Striker, Attacking Wings, (Position #’s 4,5,7,9,11). We are based in Prosper Texas and are looking for players in and around the Frisco, McKinney, Prosper, Celina areas.

Open practice sessions begin Monday 5/14 and will continue through June.

Monday 7:30p - 9:00p @ Frontier Park in Prosper.
Thursday 7:30p – 9:00p @ Frontier Park in Prosper.

I have had a few questions about the team over the past few days.  Wanted to give the forum some additional detail about us.

ABOUT US: We are an independent club based in Prosper Texas, that has been competing at the select level for 3 years. What started as a group of rec players, has evolved into a very competitive select-level team. Our team is made up of players from Prosper and other surrounding areas such as Celina, Frisco, McKinney, Aubrey. These boys are hard-workers and play with a lot of heart and desire. We practice twice a week (Monday & Thursday) in Prosper. Now that we are moving up to the U15 level, we will participate in 2 college showcases to give my players and their parents an opportunity to start developing relationships with college coaches. This is a team that shows continual improvement from year to year due to our commitment to training, and by making key additions each year. This past season we finished our first season in the Classic League in the 5th spot of Division III, and just missed out on the Classic BYE. We will look to re-qualify for next year and try and get to that next level. We need a few talented players to help assist us in getting to the next level.

• 2015/16 Season – Finished 7th place in PPL Division I.
• 2016/17 Season – Finished 1st place in PPL White Division (Undefeated).
• 2017/18 Season – Finished 5th place in Classic League Division III.

ABOUT THE COACH – MARK LOERTSCHER: I have been coaching select soccer for 5 years now, 2 years as an Assistant Coach with FC Prosper 94-95 boys, and 3 years as Head Coach of FCP – Dynamos ‘04 boys. I carry a USSF National “D” Coaching License and am constantly looking at ways to increase my knowledge as a coach. I do not have an extensive background in playing soccer, but I received NUMEROUS participation awards in rec leagues while I was growing up  . I do not have a cool English accent, but I am working on it. My proudest achievement as a coach is my retention rate from year to year. I take pride in the amount of players that want to return and play for me. I coach one team (this one), and am dedicated to consistently holding practice, and have not missed a game in my 3 years of coaching this team.

COST: Personally I do not charge/collect any money for coaching fees. This is a “not-for-profit” team. All of the money that is paid goes directly to the cost of playing, I am more interested in your commitment to the game than in your money. This is what the expected costs will look like next year.
• Classic League (if we qualify): $1,000 + Uniform
• These estimated costs will cover all league fees, team fees, ref fees, registration fees, field rental, 6 Tournaments + 2 College Showcases.
• The expectation is that we will be able to play 50+ games next year at this cost.

NEEDS: 3-4 players, preferably Center Back and Striker/Wing (position #’s 4,5,7,9,11). We play a 4-3-3 formation.

Open Practice Sessions are held Monday & Thursday @ Frontier Park in Prosper (7:30p – 9:00p).
