Are most teams maxed and there is nowhere to go or do most teams have a few spots that don't get filled on signing day?

Can she practice with teams after signing and decide to join if there is a roster spot?

If she joins after signing would that mean she doesn't have to pay since everything would have been divided by original roster?

July 1 is the earliest you can sign, you can sign anytime after.

It's the wise choice if you have uncertainty or something has changed your situation late in the game and you haven't had time to look around.

Rest assured you'll be pressured to sign July 1 but if it doesn't feel right don't do it.

There are so many good training options outside the team environment there is no reason to get stuck in a bad situation.

As with most things in life “It Depends”.

Top level teams will be signed on July 1 with maybe room for one unicorn. The further down the scale that you go, the more availability there is after July 1st. Just a hint, teams still posting relentlessly about “Open Practice” 2 or 3 days before signing will have availability after July 1st.

Yes you are allowed to practice with teams but it is not a given for the upper level teams. They are set and don’t need a bunch of hangers on. Some of these teams will take some time off after July 1 to get away before the busy fall season starts up.

Nothing is free, UNLESS YOUR CHILD IS THAT UNICORN. Lol

We are looking for 2-18 kids to fill our FDL and composite teams. Practice is everyday for the rest of the month.
