00B Solar SC East Classic Team Player Needs

Howdy,

The Solar SC East 00B are looking for players to round out the Classic Division 2 team. The team will be participating in 3-4 showcases over the course of late fall and spring seasons. Coached by Cameron Brown, the team practices in Wylie, TX at Founders Park and has practice on Monday and Thursday nights from 7:45-9:15. We have a solid 15 players but are looking to round out the team with any of the following positions:

Outside Defender - Outside back, left or right, can use both feet. Very good passing the ball, good dribbler of the ball, tall and decently fast. Would like a 00 birth year only. Previously played Classic League Division 2 or higher

Center Forward - Very good goalscorer, good at heading the ball, makes good runs behind defenders. Would like a taller player, but can be small if he is a good finisher. Good combination player and very technical and good with the ball. Comfortable with playing in a 4-3-3 or 4-5-1. Prefer a Classic Division 2 or higher league previously played in. Overall, must be a player very hungry to score goals. Looking to push on and play in college or at the next level.

Outside Forward - Looking for a fast, athletic wing type player. Very good at handling the ball, and very good individual skill on the ball. Good at staying in his position and understands how to get in behind defenders by making diagonal runs off the ball. Very Very hungry to score goals. Looking to push on and play in college or at the next level.

Center Midfielder - Must have a great first touch and be a good passer of the ball. Has good vision for the field and understands how to play his position. Must be comfortable in defending 1v1. Preferably looking for a player who has played in Classic 3 or higher.

Defensive Midfielder - Needs to be excellent at passing the ball and have excellent vision on the field. Needs to be good at understanding his position and disciplined. Very strong in the 1v1 tackle and solid in the aerial battles. Must be very technical and very good on the ball. Classic 2 or higher. Wants to push on and play at the next level in college.

Center Back - Tall, athletic Center Defender. Needs to be dominant in the air by heading or bringing the ball down out of the air. Needs to have played Center Defender for a Classic Division 2 side or higher previously. Understands how to keep a line of 4 and organizing his midfielders and other defenders. Needs to be Excellent in 1v1 defending and defending as a unit.
