Penn hasn't beaten Haylock since 10/16. Not a shock that Haylock beat them.DDdadof1 wrote:Especially how Penn lost 4-0 to Haylock right out of the gate.

I don't think so. If by "hired guns" you mean their regular roster, then yes. I'm pretty sure they played their regulars.ColtMcVince wrote:Haylock already bringing in the hired guns?

Not sure about ultimate standings but each and every week there will be posts complaining about CPP use. Rack me.

In addition, we did only ONE time last year for one game and that was to add a back up keeper off of his 06 LH team. She did not play in that game. Yes, it can be frustrating to see gamecards, week after week with not only the CPP, but dual rostered players. We always welcome the challenge though. Haylock has kept a solid team with many players returning year after year and has improved throughout the years due to coaching and development. My DD is one. We are proud of our team and together we win, lose or draw. If anyone has any questions regarding our team, we are quite transparent and happy to answer any questions. We hope that everyone has a great year and we will see you on the pitch!
Talked to some of the other teams parents, their weren't complaining about any cpp.
They just said your girls showed up ready to play and just flat out took it to their team.
Good Luck this season.

This team (Haylock) wasn't really a threat until last season. I just looked back at their history on the LH site...they have developed and improved every season.
2015-2016: Finished 18th of 20 in D1...squeeked into the super-group Age Pure D1 for the following season (known as Andromeda Red at the time)
2016-2017: Moved up to 6th in D1...looks like Age Pure may have benefitted Haylock here, and/or they added some talent
2017-2018: Finished 4th in D1, and were extremely competitive with the top-3
If they truly haven't used CPP to help out in the past, then big kudos to the hard work by these players and coach.

Haylock and Penn went at it again in the final of the gold division. Penn won 2-1. Sounds like a good rivalry.GrayMadder wrote:Did anybody see any of the tournaments this weekend?
