Royal Peak FC has been disqualified for playing an ineligible player during the QT and has been removed from the league. Unfortunately, this team kept another deserving team from qualifying.

Who knew? If the parents didn't know and now the girls are punished for someone being a cheat, that really sucks. If they all knew and tried to pull one over, what do you get out of it? What lesson are you teaching the kids? If the coach knew, what is his punishment? Was it an honest mistake? Inquiring minds want to know.

Did they also use the ineligible player in the King Tut or in the Labor Day tournament they won? I saw their team photo (taken after Labor Day tournament) and have to wonder if it was their new keeper.

Their Facebook page says they are from Garland. Maybe Soapbox has some insight on all of this.

I hadn’t really looked, but your right. There really isn’t much going on over there. I thought that league used to be a lot bigger, maybe just in the spring.
