Games will be cancelled! Again. When we played back in the day... you played no matter what. Of course the fields were crap and there was no money involved. The select world back in the day was so much better.

I can not agree with this. In the world of sport and competitions there is always money involved. Moreover, their influence is greater than expected and can control massive businesses and cultures around the world. People are greedy, they often look for opportunities to win and make some profit. This is part of my past when I made sport predictions online. Now I prefer just to read the latest news, blogs with reviews, articles of experts and ranking guides such as sportsbettingsitesranking.co.uk because it is more like an interest than addiction for me. After the pandemic lockdown money losts were crucial for the teams to function properly as they did and some of them even stopped their activity for a while. Investments can safe the sport teams from disappearing for good.
