Dallas International Girls Cup-STAY HOME-FAKE TOURNEY

If you are planning on participating in the DIGC and expect to play the top LOCAL, national, and international teams you are sorely mistaken and have been mislead.

The host of DIGC, The Dallas Texans have elected to only allow the second and third teams of FCD and Solar to participate and not the DA teams. DT approved entry for the DA teams from both clubs, but recently have taken those away citing that they are "reducing the number of local teams". Ironically the DA teams of FCD/Solar were eliminated after being approved for entry while the Dallas Texans DA Teams all remain. If you look at all of the girls brackets you will see (3) Dallas Texans teams inclusive of DA, ECNL, and FDL. FCD and Solar only have 2 teams registered per girls bracket and non DA teams.

Why would the Dallas Texans categorically and selectively choose to eliminate FCD/SOLAR DA teams?

Probably because the Dallas Texans DA have been SWEPT by FCD/SOLAR DA teams over the past year.

Just when you think the Dallas Texans are at all an all time low and know this...........

Your DA teams will still struggle, BEST OF LUCK and GO TEXANS!!

Are you more upset about your DA team not playing, or about no longer having an excuse to skip going to church with the in-laws on Easter Sunday?

If you look at all of the girls brackets you will see (3) Dallas Texans teams inclusive of DA, ECNL, and FDL.   FCD and Solar only have 2 teams registered per girls bracket and non DA teams.  



Did I miss something?  When did Texans get back ECNL for girls?

Here is your solution! Run a tournament on top of them compete and pull teams away. This could change their mind pulling from their pocketbooks.

Maybe the Solar DA girls in the 04 and 05 age groups are going to dig out their Texan jerseys from last season and field a Texan ECNL team.

We di'int even wanna play n that janky tournament n-e-ways. Ya'll we're gettin tired of beatin people 9 n 10 to zero! It'll be good for our B Teamers confidence to get to smack the Texans around so that we can go n make things right with the lord on Easter.

Speaking of beatdowns, ya'll should come out this weekend to watch us beat the pants off those LOSERS over at Solar again.

Girls DA program at fcd is a joke.

Sounds like HN is still pretty butthurt about SA and GA leaving. What’s the point of hiring an outside firm to ‘run’ the tournament if the head of the host club makes all the decisions. Imagine being one of the few traveling teams in that tournament thinking that you are coming to texas to play the best that north Texas has to offer while Sting, FCD, and Solar’s best teams are scrimmaging that weekend.

Thank god Saul Goodman is available. Best lawyer in town.

MBAPPE your funny.  A 14 year old from FCD just verbally committed to NC and they have 6 players on USGNT/USWMT team.

All the pressure is on DT with more teams in each bracket than any other club inclusive of their mighty DA teams. Can’t wait to see the results of thie rigged tourney.   We will all be watching.

So the Texans build the sandbox, fill it with sand, bring the toys to play with and you expect them to let someone else play in the sandbox while they watch? I used to cry when someone else had really cool toys and my mommy wouldn't let me take them home...think I was 4...

Unfortunately, this is just one of the many signs that this club is near the end. When they were the biggest club in town, it was easy to operate and kids would line up to play with the Texans. Now that there is more competition, there is a need for some business sense to continue, but the Texans don’t seem to have any.

In reality, it’s sad to see because they were one of the best clubs in the country no more than 7-8 years ago. On the other hand, their demise is entirely self inflicted.

I can see why HN didn’t  give 05 and 06 DA teams to Adame.  Look at the mess at Solar, 6 out of 18 left 05s are not even in DA program anymore.  Texans predicted this and let the mess pile up at Solar.
Just an FYI, Sal’s son still plays for HN and Texans.
Would have been great if Solar , Fcd and Sting registered in  the Dallas cup.  
My guess is Solar and Fcd are resting the DA kids for the DA showcase in Colorado, the following weekend.
The teams travel to this tment due to tradition and history of the tment . It would have been a good experience for teams to play a few international teams.

Good for the 14 year old. NC is probably a backup plan for her, she will be turning pro before she goes to college.
6 players for such a huge club is a very small achievement.
Just compare those numbers with fcd on boys side .

Basically....

Need a swift overhaul in administration!!

An attractive yet functional up to date website
Some camps
Some small sided tournaments
Some Nike sponsored events
Some coaching and team standards
Some coach comraderie
Some perks for the players
Some keeper clinics
Etc etc...

Or just get ecnl, GA and SA back...things fell apart EVEN MORE after that was gone lol
