Brutal? Not quite!
It was 1 - 0 Texans leading up the last 13 minutes of the second half. Although Texans did take control of the second half with time of possession 60/40 so it seem. The second goal scored by Texans was near 45 yards out from the goal. Texans seem just as surprised as FCD about the goal. Third goal was a nice cross, but with less than 5 minutes left in the game it was almost meaningless.
The last game played by FCD was the 23rd of August which seem to allow inconsistencies to creep up. Not the best showing for FCD, but they'll bounce back. FCD's win against Solar might end up being of significance when it's all said and done.

60-40?...I saw the game- I think a more honest 85/15 maybe? I don't recall an FCD scoring opportunity-was there a shot on frame? That in itself is pretty telling I would think. Let's be truthfull now...the 1-0 seemed like a 3 or 4 goal lead.It seemed to me that Texans midfield pretty much controlled the game and made it almost impossible for FCD to transition into the Texans half of the field. The only offense to speak of I saw was from one of FCD's forward...she is very special and always a threat. She will need some help though. Just an observation.

The young one didn't do anything but get pulled out of the game twice (and rightfully so). A very non-productive outing. We did have a forward that created some problems for them but never a serious threat from us to score. Texans are much better than they've been given credit for. I'll stick with my "just brutal" summary.

was just trying to get someone to fess up. Still holding Sting to 1 is hard to do. Either Sting was half-throttle or SB is not too shabby.

Has anyone heard anything on possible re-schedules before October 2 games for D1? I know the big boys have Premier League one weekend but I would think we can get something in during the week.
