Love the pun on the word it is quit punny. Should be a great game on Friday.

Wakeland fan's are some of the quietest fans in the area.  I have tried to get them loud but to no effect.  They are not a physical team by nature so I am a little confused by what carnage you are referring to.

HP fans are not. That should get 'em riled up.

We will be loud tomorrow History of great matches between the two schools. Love the HP spirit wish Wakeland would show a little bit more. Get your popcorn ready it should be a good match both teams are playing well. Good sets of players on both teams. I like the winner's chance of getting to Georgetown. For the party asking early. 3 years ago HP beat Wakeland in a game Wakeland Deserved went on to win State. 2 years ago Wakeland Beat HP in a game I thought HP deserved to win. Wakeland went on to win State. 3rd match would like to see it decided on the field where the result is to the team that plays the best. Like a clean beautiful game of course I'd like Wakeland to come out on top. Yes I have a dog in the fight.

Wakeland just better be ready to deal with HP's high Presley. (See what I did there? HP? High Press-ley? Geez I crack myself up sometimes.) Laughing

Regarding fans, I believe the appropriate word used was "obnoxious".

As for style of play - the words used were "atrocities"," carnage", and "victims".  Not surprising a homer doesn't see their play as physical - talk to your opponents.  Wakeland has a (well-deserved) reputation - most every team they play talks about how dirty they are.

hey homer

Plenty. Not sure you can call what Wakeland plays "soccer". More like a cross between mud wrestling and MMA.

But since you only define "dirty" by the number of red cards . . .

I don't even have a kid, nor do I train one, on that squad.

It'd clearly be more accurate to describe you Sir as a 'hater' here now wouldn't it?  Just talk to your opponents   Wink

Ha!! Of course Wakeland is "physical"! What good soccer team isn't "physical". It's part of the game. Did you not see Alex Morgan shoulder off the Aussie defender to score her 100th goal last night. That was "physical". Know calling a team "dirty" is something else. I don't believe the Wakeland team is out to play "dirty" and hurt anyone, but they certainly play physical, as they should. I bet this has more to do with your DD getting beat 5-1 and 4-2 during district play.

3/8/19 Liberty 0 vs Independence 1 ; (Scored tied 0-0 at half. Liberty shown a red card with about 5 minutes left in first half.)

Was your team playing physical or were they playing "dirty"?

Funny beat up highschool girls. A lot of fiction.

Fact 5A school
Fact beat and tied 6A schools one which is favored for 6A tittle. Fact was in top 10 Top dawer ranking early in year. Fact not a dirty team every team has moments but far from dirrty. Fact girls just want to play enjoy the battle and stop tearing down young ladies behind Aliases and a computer. When you attack Wakeland girls you attack my child I will speak up against folks that have no clue. Good luck HP. Want a safe a beautiful game. We havr 8 girls playing college next year not bad at all.

Great game both teams battled. Congrsts to HP good livk going forward. Goal in the last minute did us in. What does district have to do with the 7 games needed to win state. Boys finished 4th last yesr then got on the streak. The game is cruel have to have some luck in the process. Folks it's a game and they are still kids. As I left the match I got a call from the wife my daughter needs me. I have coached my kid for 18 years and seeing the tears in her eyes it was time to be dad. They felt they were better but someone has to lose it could have went either way. I rushed back to give her the hug and gave her some life tips to gain from this bitter pill to swallow. Fact my first born will always be my little girl no matter how old she is. There are a lot of little girls in the game today that need a hug and some luv after a hard fought match.

From a stats stand point Wakeland had more posession and more shots. From a decision point and deserving to win based of play when it mattered I give the edge to HP.

For some reason Wazup might be a person from the Frisco district champs. Not sure but if you are you deserved the championship. They earned it on the field. On your way up though it's improtant not to step on folks on the way.
