03B Classic League

Solar Donnelly making a move with winning the last two games and now up to 6th place. Nice addition of a former DA player to that roster for those two games to an already good team.

FCD Premiere and Solar Deleon had an easy time this weekend in Austin wining both games in Frontier League. Solar Deleon now in the drivers seat to win Frontier League and advance to Regional Finals in South Carolina.

I didn't see any predictions for last Wednesday's games. Would anyone have predicted the 3-1 Solar DeLeon win over FCD Che? I don't think ANYONE would have picked a rather dominating 4-1 FC Premier win over FC Dallas Premier. Regardless of any injuries, or even FCDP getting away with playing a player that should have sat out due to a red card infraction that he received in their last Classic League game, the guys in green came out on top in a big way. They're rolling with winning 4 of their last 5 games when you throw in the Frontier Conference games.

FCD Premier over Atletico
FC Premier over Solar Donnelly
Che over Falls Town
Waters over Borg

I guess I’ll take another crack at predictions for the final 6 matches before showcases and high school soccer starts up. I would have NEVER thought we’d see the results we did last week with the draws from the top 2 teams against teams at the bottom of the table. Atletico making a surprising surge with their big win vs Waters and the 0-0 tie. But let’s not forget the Texans and what they’ve been doing either. Are they stacking their squad with ECNL players? FC Premier continues to roll with a dominating 4-1 win over what was supposed to be a hot Solar Donnelly team. And here we go...

Texans will upset FCD Premier and they’ll go to the off-season scratching their heads and hoping players heal and come back healthy sooner rather than later.

Atletico and Donnelly will draw. But if I have to give any team even the slightest edge, I’d pick Donnelly.

If anyone can make adjustments after a flat game or not-so-good performance, it’s Solar DeLeon and I pick them over Falls Town this weekend.

Che over Waters in a tight one. Depends on which squad Waters brings to play.

FC Premier will finish strong and right the wrong that was a 0-0 draw last time they played Borg and will win this match.

Texans win a close one over Borg to really cause mass chaos on the bottom half of the table as the final 6 games in the Spring will be absolutely crucial for relegation and if I’m right on the predictions above (which I probably won’t be) the top half of the table will be fighting in some heavyweight matches with high stakes as everyone comes back from high school ball..hopefully everyone is healthy upon return and ready to finish the U17 soccer year!

End of the Fall has the top 5

3. FC Premiere
4. Falls Town
5. FCD Che.

The bottom three are all within one game of each other as well.

Solar Deleon won the Regional League last weekend so they are through to the Regional Finals in South Carolina next June. FCD will probably get there through State Cup.

Time to play for some school pride.
