DA and ECNL question
If your DD plays on DA or ECNL are they allowed to play for their school?
Thanks

Re: DA and ECNL question
DA - generally, no to high school sports.
SOME coaches have been OK in the past with middle school sports, or dropping off the DA squad during high school soccer season, and later coming back. A lot of this is dependent on the coach / club. US Soccer could also step in at any time and crack down on this kind of stuff since they call the big picture shots on DA.

I really feel like Adam here --
ACTUALLY ...
According to the 2019-20 USSDA rules, no rostered DA player (either PT or FT) can participate in either middle school or high school soccer. If they do, they aren't eligible to return until their respective club's next calendar year.

Re: DA and ECNL question
The rules only specify soccer. That being said, if any basketball activities were to interfere with any DA training/matches, it would likely be to that player's detriment.

Consequences, if any, depend on the club, the coach and the player involved.
