How To Structure Player Contracts?

As we are seeing with the professional clubs asking players to take pay cuts doesn't it make sense for the reverse to happen with all the uncertainty surrounding availability of practice and games for youth players?
How should clubs be required to structure youth players "paid" contracts to mitigate the risk of paying full fees for the possibility of half a season/practice of soccer development?
Clauses for percentage of fees refunded for months with less than XX practices as well as XX number of total games played vs scheduled?
Not to mention I am sure that a large number of families will be impacted by the pandemic and may not have the funds for their children to be on high$$$ club teams.

While nobody expects anything for free, I am certain that clubs, both big and small must take into consideration the economic impact of COVID-19.

Clubs are not into financial forecasting so I expect certain clubs to not make hardly any adjustment, to the other extreme where some clubs will plan a year at break even prices in order to keep players on the roster. LET THE BUYER BEWARE this upcoming signing day which could likely be moved to a later date after the dust has settled.

Along with player contracts I have been seeing that some clubs are getting new kits for 20/21 season. I wish that was something put on hold for a year due to the financial impact so many are facing and just the fact that who knows when kids will be able to practice together let along play again.

At Renegades, we are doing financial forecasting and making sure we have a plan in place for our parents if soccer is delayed but signing day still happens. That is the benefit of two of the founders being parents. We consider the pain of paying for soccer as we pay for soccer so our decisions start their. Not saying we are perfect, just a different view point when the owners are parents instead of bottom line thinkers.

It's hard with player uniforms not sure how many girls would be able to wear them for a third year.
