Moving to Texas
Moving to Texas
I've done a little research (looking at North Texas rankings)
If anyone can recommend or give any info about Solar Ackerson, Elite United, Stars and Stripes, Dallas Rebels, Allegiance FC, DKSC -07 Voutier, Solar Mckinney. If anyone knows playing styles, locations, etc it will save me some time. Thanks

Re: Moving to Texas
With DA now gone, ECNL is the current top league for each age group, and includes some travel. I’d suggest you start there. There’s also a MLS league that has been projected to start MLS League. If you’d rather not travel, then Classic League is very competitive. Boys Classic Leagueschmuck wrote:Don't go by those rankings. A lot has changed and no Da teams on those rankings
Also, ECNL teams are not counted in the GotSoccer rankings for the ECNL conference play. They only earn points when playing in tournaments, or if they are playing in another league at the same time (ie Classic League). Also teams that play a lot of tournaments can gain points quickly if they do well, even if it’s in a lower bracket.
There are many options in the DFW area, and the key is to find the right coach for your son. I’d suggest trying the big clubs (Solar, FC Dallas, Dallas Texans) as well as the medium size clubs like BVB (US based affiliate of the German club). All of them have various levels of competition, as well as types of demeanors of their respective coaches.
So many options in this area, so careful not to sign to quickly and be sure to do your due diligence.
If you’d like to talk with the Coach or tryout for the BVB ECNL ‘07 team, please contact Coach Keith Hodder at 972-569-7570.
Feel free to DM me if you have any detailed questions. Good luck!
He coaches both the ‘06B and ‘07B ECNL teams for the club.

Re: Moving to Texas
Elite United - Classic League team that I believe just merged clubs with Allegiance. Well coached team with a ton of fight!
Stars and Stripes - No personal vendetta against this team at all because they have been a solid team in a ton of tournaments, but going through tons of drama right now losing players and not allowed to participate in the top local league.
Dallas Rebels - very good team playing in Classic League and won State Cup in 2019. Solid choice.
Allegiance FC - technical, lots of skill, coach is more than happy to tell you that he is amazing.....but the team is really good!
DKSC -07 Voutier - meh....they are ok. Your son would probably expect more from them.
Solar Mckinney - Solid team.
I would also recommend Solar Elite Academy with Coach Adam Wells and possibly FC Dallas Elite Academy.
Best of luck and some solid advice from BVB. ECNL Texas Conference is going to be fantastic this year! Tulsa and Albion both have solid teams and now you add Dallas Texans DA program in the mix will add some more competition. Will be a fun and competitive top 6-7 teams in the group.
