DM will be crying into his black silk covered pillow tonight!

I decided to take my dd out to watch te Solar and Rowdies game. What a game by both teams. Solar went up 4-0 in the firs half. One fantastic goal, one PK and two goals where the goalie just didn't pick up the ball.

Second half Rowdies came out and scored 3 great goals. The two tall blondes (one Solar and one Rowdies) were absolutely amazing. The moves and passing by these two were great.

I wish the game would have ended in a tie, as that would have been the best result. All in all, Rowdies had most possession and chances, but couldn't combat the three clumsy goals they gave up.

Both teams should be congratulates for playing their hearts out.

I will bring my dd back if they play again.

Solar dominated the first half, and Rowdies dominated the second half. Very good game. Rowdies never gave up after being down by four. The star of the game for Solar was their tall blonde defender. Rowdies had trouble getting anything past her.

No problem. I am just reporting the scores for the 04' group that get texted to me after the games until one of the coaches or parents can take over as I was not at the game.

The coaches listed on the SDL website are incorrect.

Raymund Lopez coaches Juve Black 04' girls and Roni Griffin coaches the Juve Gold 04's.

Thanks for the correction. Sounds like a great battle from both groups.

Got to watch part of Kennington v. Rowdies. Looked like a tale of two halves. Just like somebody else said. Solar controlled the first half and Rowdies controlled the second half. What accounted for this? Was it coaching? Seemed like DM made some adjustments the second half. Did Rowdies girls wake up? Did the Solar girls think they had the game in the bag? Maybe it was just 6 year olds being inconsistent.

There was a lot of pressure on Solar at the end of the game with many shot opportunities from the Rowdies. Outcome might have been different if there were five more minutes. Regardless, Solar has to be considered the top team for now. Liverpool may or may not be better. Can't say until they play each other. Fever also looks like they will be tough. Look for DT Rosales and TX spirit to pull out a good win here or there. Andromeda will likely fall to D2 next season. Lots of talent and lots of fun games ahead.
