9v9 Final at Primetime

Just a note to say how impressed I was with the Solar Dynamo/Stark girls and coach. They breezed through the 9v9 bracket and won the final over Andromeda 02 Patterson in a tough, fun game to watch.

The score of the Final was 1-0, but Dynamo controlled the ball and had very good timing and pace with their passing. Andromeda played great D (and their goalie was the best player on the field) but Dynamo was first to the ball most of the time and that was the difference. Andro is getting better, but still lost two 1-goal games to Dynamo this weekend.

What was best about the game though was the sportsmanship of the girls, coaches and parents between each other. Both teams shook hands more than once and we heard a lot of 'good game' between everyone. It was nice to see a final game that wasn't heated and out of control for once! Two pretty good teams going at it was fun to watch.

Thanks because being the more sporty, less foul prone team, in every game we play, is a very high priority in Dynamo land. Andromeda was a class act all the way around. Nice when those things are noticed.

We played Stark's other 02 team during the season. They are a fun team to play, very sportsmanlike, and very technical team. We will be seeing both of them this weekend in the Shawnee Trail tourney and we are looking forward to it!
