Should be a lot of fun it seems to have a lot of teams that are new or not in the spot light as much. Will be interesting to watch all the teams play each other. JUST HAVE FUN with this one.

DT South will blow this one out. The other teams in this bracket are not in the same league as them. This should have been a division II bracket.

I understand that based on the comments here that DT South is probably going to win this tourney without being scored on. Is that the reason teams are dropping out of this tourney? We're a new team and just trying to figure out why teams keep changing.

I don't think it has anything to do with DT South begin favored to win. There are other teams out there that can beat DT South very easily. I think the issue is most teams are gearing up for 11v11 and want to start playing 11v11. It appears Puma Cup isn't offering an 11v11 option. That will deter teams from signing up to compete in the tourney. I know our coach won't look at a tourney that won't offer 11v11 as an option at this age or for us to play up.

Also remember it's summer and teams are having a hard time just having enough girls for practice let alone trying to have enough to play a full weekend of games.

You are correct, that is the reason one of the teams dropped out!

SOLAR GIO 1 DALLAS TEXANS SOUTH 02-G. ADAMES 2

This was a good game. Texans South was a little bit stronger but the action was not all one sided. Solar GIO led 1-0 at half time.

Solar GIO did very well. They played one of the top 02 girls teams in the league very tough.

Congrats to DT South for winning the tourney today in the heat!
