Fun Friendly Tournament needs teams

Hello!

I am one of the Tournament Directors for the 1st Annual Childhood Cancer Shootout - KIK 2011 our website: www.childhoodcancershootout.info

This is a quick email so I have tried to make it short.

This Soccer Tournament is to benefit a 6 year old member of Denton Soccer Association (DSA), Kodi Tutt. Kodi loves soccer & playing with her friends. Since being diagnosed in March 2010 with Neuroblastoma Cancer she has been unable to play soccer.

Denton Soccer Association is sponsoring this event that we are striving to make annually, this we believe will benefit other children for futures to come! This is a sanctioned NTSSA tournament that is for Recreational, Academy and Select Teams U4-U19! (Attached is complete rules and information.)

The tournament will be a great beginning to the fall season for various reasons:

Get ready to play in the heat! (We will have cooling/misting stations)
Having a great time and playing soccer against others! (We are considering this a Friendly Tournament)
Let the teams learn each other and their team-mates prior to season starting so they can focus on what the season will be!
Play Stations for all ages! (Dunk Booths (coaches volunteer to be dunked by players), duck pond, balloon toss, soccer bowling, face painting, air brush painting, craft areas, bounce houses, food, drink & plain fun) (This is a fundraiser so all things excluding food & drinks are .25 each - Cheap, easy and fun!)

More will be added as we get closer to the date!

We are accepting donations (any type!, candy, food, gift certificates/door prizes (raffle off & silent auction), REFEREE VOLUNTEERS, Vendors (10x20 booth area), any type of child toy (new/unused) for kids prizes at some games). If you know anyone who might be interested, please let us know and register online!

The tournament is $20 per player (each receives a t-shirt), *gotsoccer charges flat rates, your card will be charged based on max rooster size but not charged until you are accepted into the tournament.

You can register the team without the rooster, once you receive your fall rooster you can edit the information and we can complete the process.

Yes it is still on. They have extended registration until Aug 17.

Hello Everyone!
We know this is a hard time of the year for Soccer.  Season's beginning, Lots of Tournaments & still creating teams, but our Shootout is very unique because we are raising money for a 7yr old Soccer Player who has been fighting Neuroblastoma Cancer for 17mths & is still fighting.

We are still looking for more teams & we are asking that you help spread the word!  The Registration is Open until Friday 8/19/11.
