This is what I have seen. There are more teams than I was expecting based on last year's numbers...

The following is an alphabetical list of the teams assigned to each of the U17G flights. We have analyzed each team using available data, evaluated your requested flight, and, constrained by a reasonable number of teams in each flight, made flight assignments based on those considerations.

Actual tournament with semi's and finals. Last year we won our bracket and lost in the semi-finals.

Gotsoccer South Texas ranked #1.

This team did well last year and should be tough competition. They were #7 out of 12 in Region 3 Premier League. (Solar 95 was #6). Looks like the local teams that beat them last year are Sting 95 3-0, Solar 95 1-0. They tied Dallas Texans Red 0-0. They beat TUSC Blitz United Navy twice at 4-0 and 5-0. Win over North OKC 2-3. Unless they have had massive turn over, girls better eat their Wheaties prior to playing them.

"Girls U17 Silver B ANGELINA ELITE AEFC - LUFKIN" had one good player and a bunch of East Texas hacks raised by a bunch of nasty rec parents, and young punk coach at Houston last year. They were somehow convinced they were great. 80 something yr old Grandpaw even got in the act by taking verbal shots at 15yr old girls during play and after. They were schooled by a Solar Red 3-0 without their top scorer.

Space City did not play this weekend as well as their stats would suggest. One of their girls even commented on their bad weekend. Happens. Glad to see y'all did well.
