Yes, you are right, and I apologize, did not mean to slight the regular D'Feeter girls,but I see now how that sounded. I know Feet has a couple of good coaches and some great girls, and I am sure they are improving great. Had also "heard" there were not enough 02 girls, and were using 03 girls to help out. Just seemed like a quick improvement.

Yes very good game. South played great in 2nd half and really pressed to try and tie. I still have to check the video and see if my dd rolled passed the backline on a shot she rolled backwards about 2 rotations and was right on the backline. I gave her 3 lashings and she will never roll backwards with the ball again! GOOD PARENTING!

Higg and Fever was a good game. Higg won 2 to 1. Tied 1 to 1 for most of it. Deciding goal was a Higg shot from way out that road the wind and bounced over our keepers head. All 3 of the goals in the game were longish shots up high.......counting the bounce on the game winner.

Fever should have been awarded a PK late in the game but somehow the brilliant referee called a foul on the Fever girl because the Higg girl fell down. The Higg girl was pulling the Fever girls jersey and the jersey snapped out of her hand and that is why she fell.

Anyway, it was entertaining and both teams played hard.

Maybe a little off but girls brought home win. Better to be " off" today rather than in semis or finals. All three goals were nice. Players still getting accustom to new coach and vice versa.

Not even close, they had a tough game against DT-Glotz earlier in the day and at this point tourneys are expected to be an endurance challenge mentally and physically couple that with high winds (which can make even a mediocre team look good) for that our DD's may have looked "off" but certainly aren't weak. Besides they pulled out the win and if I recall correctly they beat Fever Red last week 4-0 in season play.

As for the penalty that wasn't, the referee favored Fever Red on calls the entire game..maybe if your sideline wasn't screaming to "take out" our players the ref may have been more considerate.

Your team is good. Don't get your feathers ruffled. Don't say things that aren't true to defend your team. Fever Red parents have never and will never encourage dirty play by our girls. No one said anything about taking out your girls. That it not our style and you know it. Shame on you.

As for the PK that was....maybe you missed it, just like the referee. And as far as the ref favoring Red....come on dude. I think that stems from frustration. Be real, don't put such nonsense on here. Sometimes, "mediocre" teams, like ours, can hang with great teams, like yours. It is what makes it fun.

The only dirty play I saw was by your right fullback when the ball wasn't even around and then a tackle from behind by your left mid. And those are indisputable facts.
